Good commercial gym. Has all the equipment you need for a good workout. Quite clean.

This gym offers great value for money. It has some of the best leg weights equipment and offers all the weights and cardio you need to get fit. Membership starts from $10 a week which is unheard of in the Surrey Hills area. Most are starting from $15 a week. The facilities are clean and offers good showers.The only negative is parking is a little limited with i think 8 car spots but i have no idea how they can get more parking.The critisms on here are a little unfair. Every time i called i got onto someone and they were helpful. People complain about a $5 a week suspension fee. Well you can pay nearly double a week so u can get free suspension. Its quite normal to pay $5 a werk suspension fees at their price for membership fees. Know many that do and none that don't. Only more expensive gyms offer free suspension in my experience.

Small gym, has most of what you want though but be prepared to use other equipment fiest. Car park is usually full so be prepared to part a minute away and walk.

Like wise most of the their customers reviewed. They clearly having an issues with picking up phone. I was keep calling their 1300 number almost a 3 4 weeks and the waiting time was unacceptable some days up to 65mins and no one picking up the phone. Finally they picked up my phone today and I wanted to cancel my membership and now they ruling out their 30 days notice period. ZAP FITNESS WHAT ABOUT NOT HAVING AN ENOUGH STAFF TO PICK OUR CALLS ALMOST FOR 4 WEEKS. AND NO EMAIL OR SMS BEFORE CLOSING DOWN YOUR BLACKBURN NORTH CENTRE - HENCE SENDING TONS OF EMAILS REGARDING TO THEIR MARKETING. Ask for a manager to get back to me and still waiting, as the customer service team has literally no idea what they are there for. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CLOWNS AT ANY COST.

I absolutely love Zap Surrey Hills! The facilities are easy to use, clean and always tidy. I throughly enjoy my time at this gym. The staff are professional, always helpful and friendly. Cami is always so welcoming and looking out for members' needs. Highly recommend this gym!

Love this gym! Is in a great location with parking available! No matter what you want to work on, there’s something for everyone, including a functional training area upstairs! The members and staff are all friendly

Stayed on call for nearly 2 hours for the first call I made. Second 45 mins and third for almost 30 minutes. Went to the gym, the reception lady (she was very nice) got on her teams and the head office picked up within seconds.Wanted to get me account suspended since I am going to be overseas, thought it would be free since that's nearly what all gyms do, but I was wrong. $5 for suspension of account. I have made regular on time payments and have been with them for almost year yet poor customer service. Will still pay them till my contract ends, but don't think I'll even go to this gym after coming back.Ohh and facilities, equipment and everything else is decent. Anytime fitness Balwyn way better!

Gave them 40 days notice of cancellation, which they acknowledge, but they are still going to charge me for 30 days because my account was on hold which would be understandable, if it wasn't put on hold because we were in a lockdown. This all feels a bit unethical, as I attempted to get in early because I've moved and am not anywhere near a Zap Fitness.

The air conditioning hasn’t been working for the last 8 weeks. Its unbearable working out! I have emailed head office many times and they keep saying they’re calling maintenance and still nothing!
