The Roads going to Manning Point are unexceptable, and have been for over 30 years, fix them it's not hard

I own properties in 4 Local Government Areas. Greater Taree is the least flexible and most intrusive council I have dealt with. I think it is time to merge Great Lakes, Greater Taree and Gloucester Councils. Then the Mid-Coast Water can be merged back in and the benefits that merger provided can be extended to all council services. Two less Mayors is a good start.

I have always found the staff at the council most helpful with information, cheery and very professional attitude.I have also been impressed by the way they preserve the gum trees in the town, even when people complain & want them removed. They are so important and loved by the bird life.I know they are messy and can cause damage, but sometimes we need to look at the bigger picture.Thank you Mid Coast Council, .for lovely Fotheringham Park..It's a pleasure to walk in and a joy.I would like council to make some big changes to cat control laws in our area. The same as apply for dog's. That they are contained within the owners property, and not allowed to roam. I am tired of them pooing in my veggie patch, and the diseases that they carry are very serious.. I get very distressed whenever I watch them carry off a blue tounge lizard nearly the same size as they are., not to mention the bird life I have lost.We have lost enough wild life through the bush fire's.

Just west of Jabiru Dr Harrington is a shared walkway across the creek. Some of the guardrail has gone and partially been replaced with temporary plastic barrier. It's been like this for at least 4 months and is an accident waiting to happen. I gather Greater Taree Council is content with their idea of fixing the problem. I would love to see the engineers and OHS report saying this is safe and to the appropriate standards of safety and repair.

Went to the tip for the first time since moving into this council area, At the Herons Creek, tip we would have paid no more than $20.00 for that trailer load, at Taree we were weighed and the rain had waterlogged all the contents it cost us $98.00 for the load, thats disgusting.

Town is filthy. Where are the bins? Grew up here to come back to a pig sty? Small towns all around this beautiful country are well looked after and maintained. How can you expect people to follow a clean example when they see all this on the ground?

I was disappointed to find out today that after 34 years of paying rates, the one time we ask for a little understanding, we get told there is no room for 'special circumstances'. Putting your father in a nursing home and needing a council pick up voucher (which are available) to help deal with the pain of throwing his furniture out, is just not possible as hey have 10,000 customers who they may have to make 'special considerations' for! Wow, how great is council!!!!!!!!

worst road maintenance i have ever seen. i didn't even know it was possible to get corrugated sealed roads till i moved up here. overgrown road verges with in places more than 40 cm drop to the eroded side margins from the sealed road, gloucester and nowendoc roads are prime examples of decades of neglect and lack of basic maintenance, some sections of road have lost nearly half a meter of total width over the years due to the side margins being eroded away and not renewed.putting up caution damaged pavement" signs at random is not helping as they are bizarrely arbitrary

GrubsLand rates through the roofDog registration $201 pound release fee $50 + $35 per night with only a very small window of time to pick up the animal. These grubs must have great Christmas parties because you can tell by driving through the town the money isn't going in to much else.

Incompetent beyond words! Killawarra Bridge should have been open on 2 March 2017. Project planning should have factored in wet weather. Council should make sure the 'go to' website for road closures is accurate. Council should make sure that DETOUR signs actually show people detours. Another 7 to 10 days before road open?? No news i media, no updates on Facebook. Idiots. Incompetent, disorganised, money grabbing idiots.
