I recently stopped at Forage for breakfast, after a morning swim with my son. It's really big for a cafe, but the service is still very quick and friendly. There's a great menu with options for everyone. It's a really family friendly place, so good for the kiddos. They also seem to do a roaring trade in take away coffee, if you don't have time to sit down

The rudest staff you could come across. Majority of the time we go there, they are always too busy talking about their personal lives or complaining about other staff where customers can hear, than doing their job.Waited 15 mins for a takeaway coffee, standing and listening to staff just talking away rather than doing their jobs. After looking at me multiple times and not having the brain power to wonder why I’m standing there and looking displeased, I had to go to them and ask where my coffee is, which they had clearly forgotten to make because, I repeat, too busy having a good old chat.Aside from this, not one of them knows what a smile is and you are always greeted with a sad and irritated look of ‘why did you have to walk in!’. The owners would do well to read these reviews and grill their staff. Not one of them would be working if it were my place.

This was a breakfast stop at this place most of the locals seemed to hang out. Nice ambience setting the mood for a calm and peaceful time;which is what's attracting the crowds most probably.We got 2 lattes, a ricotta pancake and baked eggs from the specials menu. The coffee was a good treat and I badly wanted to say the same about the food as well.Unfortunately, the baked eggs was hard to finish with tons of stewed leeks underneath the eggs.The ricotta pancake was huge and looked very appealing, however ended up being way too sweet! They've definitely got to improve their food game as it has the potential to take the place to the next level!

Had b breakfast been here a few times which I could not fault. The standard of food has dropped slightly. Had scrambled eggs on toast. Wife had a breakfast burrito. Price was reasonable.

Decently good food, but the barista service really let's the place down. Waited for about 10mins for the first set of lattes we ordered and they were lukewarm at best. When our meals came out we ordered a second set. These lattes took so long to come out we had finished our meals and got them made up as takeaways.

Whilst the food was very good, fresh and well presented, it just lacked that little bit of oomph and uniqueness to get 5 stars.Then again. for a suburban coffee shop / breakfast spot it definitely rates in my top 10 %,Well worth a visit.If 4.5 stars was an option, I would have given that.

Booked for 6 for Mother’s Day brunch - sooooo disappointed to see my favourite, the French toast, had been removed from the menu. Anyway, was initially inundated with servers wanting to take our order after we’d barely assembled at our table and then…….nothing. Had to go looking for a server to take our order. Then waited almost 45 minutes for the food to arrive. Noticed the table next to us (of 4) waited a long time also to receive their food. Horrified to overhear a server asking them if they were nearly ready to move on even though one of the guests was still eating! The server then rudely suggested “oh well, I’ll see if I can seat the new arrivals somewhere else”! Sorry guys you can’t expect to police your time limit rule on a busy day when you take almost an hour to take orders and then deliver the food. Very disappointed. Sadly won’t be back which is a shame given past visits and locality. Two stars given for the waffles I ordered as a back up option.
