Friendly service, extensive fishing knowledge for salt and fresh water, large range.The gentleman who served me also wasn’t trying to sell the most expensive gear, he was very honest and understanding of my skill level to what he recommended.Definitely returning to support local business with great service.

I can't say enough good things about this store. It's packed with a huge range of rods, lures, and other gear, and the staff are great. We're in here frequently with my son, who adores fishing, and the owner and his staff are always incredibly patient with his questions and willing to spend time talking the pros and cons of various rods and lures with him. Staff here repeatedly go well above and beyond in authentically connecting with our little guy and are very knowledgeable.

Met this shop owner at the Bass Master Classic, Knoxville, Tennessee, USA and was very impressed by his knowledge of the fishing industry. Hope to meet this family on trip to Auz. Next year!

Quite seriously, my visit to Ballina Bait & Tackle was a wonderful experience. Brett (great name) spent approx 1 hour with my wife and I, who are absolute novices. He explained everything we needed to know from setting up a rod, to what type of line to use, what bait for different types of fish, where to find them, how to fish for different species and more. We both walked away thinking......customers for life. Thanks so much Brett and we will be back in soon.
