Great service and high quality product came side by side. I was desperately looking for a step down transformer for my audio equipment and happened to find Tortech online. Being overseas based, I had little hope that they would accept my order but they did so eventually. The item was despatched swiftly and I was hugely impressed with the built quality. Great experience dealing with Tortech. Needed a step down transformer to run kitchen appliances brought home from the US ... lots of great info on their web page to make sure you got the right device and capacity for your needs, as well as to give you confidence these guys know what they are talking about. My transformer was delivered surprisingly quickly and at a pretty reasonable rate given these are necessarily heavy bits of kit. Obviously well made and doesn't make any noise while operating (not sure why it should but I read plenty of reviews online of other available products where shoppers were disappointed with product noise). It was nice to be able to buy Australian too!

So I just wanted to give TorTech a big thank you for helping me select the correct step down transformer to run a 600w Japanese fan heater table. I had contacted other companies but they weren’t helpful at all. The engineering department got back to me within 10 minutes of me sending an email . So I new exactly what to order. I think I could have saved a couple of dollars buying it somewhere else but if I get that kind of service I’m not shopping around. The table belongs to my niece. She and her kids love it and it was so satisfying to help her out. I was a bit surprised that some companies didn’t want to help. My niece is also talking of buying another one for the dining table. TorTech provided excellent technical advice in determining the best lighting requirements for my martial arts studio including Hi Bay and replacement flouro lighting with LED tube.After four years a light failed, great service and replacement warranty support.
