I came to this place because my other mechanics tried ripping me off. I heard from people and reviews that this place is to be trusted and offer good quality services for their prices, I was not disappointed. I needed my suspensions to be changed and they gave me a good deal for it, even got my wheel balance free of charge. Not only that, they offered to drop me off home when I had no other means of getting home. The manger here is clear and precise with how he explains the problems. I highly recommend this place to friends and family.

Worst experience ever at this place, I don’t recommend at all! I brought my vehicle in back in May to get my brake pads and brake discs replaced for a cost of $590 (other places offered less - about $550 at most - so this place is also a rip off!). I was told it would only take 2 hours but ended up waiting almost 4 hours for the repair to be done. The reason for this was because they took my car for a test drive, which they did not inform me about, and came back from the test drive 35 minutes later. The owner came and told me there is an issue with my gearbox. How does that happen? My car was working perfectly fine and after they came back from the “test drive” the car wouldn’t even shift into drive. They claimed it happened after they hit the brakes really hard on the test drive and this triggered some issue that was already there. Refused to make any remuneration towards the repair and blamed me for having an issue before coming there. They took me to a transmission specialist they knew close by who also didn’t know what happened to my car but after speaking to the transmission specialist privately, they agreed with me that this place is dodgy and had a strange story about what happened. Not only did I have to pay thousands to have my gearbox issue fixed, they also left a dent in my driver door from opening it on the car lift machine. I am absolutely appalled by how this business is run. Bunch of liars and frauds, do not trust this business!!!!

Roy went above and beyond to get the blue slip inspection done at a reasonable price.. good communication and friendly staff, especially the older Asian gentleman mechanic . Very polite and courteous.. I will definitely be using Midas Blacktown again!!

Went in for 4 new tyres, and after an examination, we were advised that 2 of the existing rims on the vehicle were damaged beyond repair. Both tyres were leaking air, which caused me heaps of grief.Thanks for your professional expertise.4 new rims and 4 new tyres installed. The vehicle feels so smooth now.Thanks, guys.

They just did their job. Nothing too great. I was happy they didn't try to upsell or hardsell. But I was a little surprised they didn't tell me any potential issues I may face in the near future. I would have liked to know of any wear and tear. Unlikely that a 6 year old car had nothing wrong with it.

Michael was very helpful, friendly and had a great deal of knowledge. I’ll continue to have my service done by Michael & the Midas Team at Blacktown as regardless whether my car is in having a service, in between services I have been able to pop in and ask questions about my car and Michael has always never hesitated to stop what he’s doing to assist which in return helps me plan my next service with him. They’ll tell you up front, call you during the service if anything needs attention then and there and at the end tell you what’s due in your next service.
