My partner and l had a wonderfully unique experience. Felt very relaxed whilst Chelsea and Josh took us through their amazing aged sours. We love our beer and these Saisons/wild ales were an absolute delight. Highly recommend to any craft beer fans to visit and take away more than just a great beer experience; but perhaps learning something more too. They've got big plans for the future and l couldn't be more excited for them. We will definitely be back!

Black Arts Brewery is a true boutique experience. Run by Josh, the owner, this brewery is a cozy, wonderland of beer. Experienced in sour beers and developing Saisons and Meads, Josh is bound to blow up. It is a comfy environment, shared on a huge table shared by multiple groups - exactly how good beer should be. This is the boutique beer experience you wish you could get — and you can, for free, here in Melbourne. It is definitely worth a detour in Melbourne.

Josh was a really amazing host. We rocked up to a closed brewery, hoping to buy some beer if they were open. He gave us a 90 minute tour and chat about all of his processes, all the things he's making and what he's working with. Absolutely top experience with a craft lover, and their beers are also fantastic.

The place is a little out of the way, but it's definitely worth going. My partner and I happened to be the only people there for a while, so we were able to have a nice chat with Josh and Chelsea. Josh is clearly incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about beer, and the hospitality shown by them both was excellent. The beers on tap were lovely, complex sours, and Josh described to us the process behind making them. Incredible experience, we'll definitely be back!

They make GREAT beers so I took a punt and visited the brewery today. Josh gave us the grand tour. He has great ambitions for the brewery and I am positive he will succeed. Make sure you support Black Arts. They deserve it.
