This was a fantastic place to stay. Great hospitality and accomodating. Comfortable beds, cosy treehouse. It was lovely to be immersed in nature and turtle feeding was a fantastic feature!

We booked the Canopy Treehouses for our anniversary, and sadly were disappointed somewhat. The location, surroundings, animals and rainforest did not disappoint, and it cannot be overstated how gorgeous this location is and it's close proximity to other lovely sights and towns makes it a perfect getaway. However, there are a couple of things that detracted from our weekend, a major drawcard for us was the fireplace, we had been looking forward to building a romantic fire for a long time. When we got into the treehouse we noticed the fireplace was out of order, we weren't told of this prior to arrival. We went to reception and spoke to Daniel, who said he should be able to swap us into another treehouse the following day or have the fireplace fixed. We left early in the morning before he was available to speak to at reception. He left us a voicemail at 11.54am asking us to call him regarding our room, no further information was given in his message. We returned his call at 12.36pm, we called a further six times between then and 4pm, none of our calls were answered or returned. Upon returning to our treehouse we noted the fireplace had not been repaired and there was no notice on our door updating us on the situation. We went up to reception, Daniel stated he'd been trying to call us all day". When asked what time he called

I’d recommend this amazing place to anyone who’d listen. It was a great adventure for our family lots of walking tracks, with a lot of nature. We loved our time there it gets really cold at night but they have heated blankets and can lit a fire in the living which we did everyday. Our son loved cutting wood for the fire. The canopy’s are spacious but also cozy! Lisa and Tino were great nothing was too much for them, allowed us early check in which was big tick for us. Will definitely be going back again thanks guys

I can't recommend Canopy Treehouses enough! A group of us stayed in the Bower House for a long weekend and had an absolutely wonderful time. We had a couple of cassowaries visit us twice a day, saw many birds and possums throughout the stay, and simply enjoyed the serenity of the rainforest. The house was very clean, comfortable and well equipped, and the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I can't wait for my next visit.

The whole experience was as I thought it would be, a beautiful setting in amongst an amazing rainforest, quiet and full of a great variety of birds and animals. The walking trails were all around and once in your own treehouse it seemed a world away from everyone. Dan was friendly, informative and helpful and we would stay there again for sure. We loved the whole Tableland, full of history, interesting towns and activities.

This place was incredible! The house we stayed in was very private. Located in the rainforest next to a flowing stream full of turtles and fish. We also saw a platypus in the stream just a short walk from our house at the platypus location marked on the map by reception. We also had beautiful rainforest birds and possums visit our balcony. The accommodation itself was flawless. Very roomy, comfortable, clean, equipped kitchen, washing machine, etc.The owners were very kind, informative, and helpful. They were also very accommodating with our late night check in, because out arrival travel ran late.I am recommending this place to everyone, and will definitely return next time we go to the tablelands!

Wonderful stay with my family visiting Australia for the first time.We arrived at night, Daniel was kind enough to wait for us for our late check in.What a beautiful surprise to wake up with the sound of the birds, and see outside the cabin, spot tree kangaroos just outside, pademelons, platypus in the river and the two locals cassowaries who came around the house a few times. The location is great to explore the Atherton Tablelands, with walks, waterfalls, fig trees... nearby.Would recommend to anyone who wants to unwind and cut themselves from the rest of the world in a peaceful place.

Our stay was beyond our expectations. The treehouse was so spacious, absolutely beautiful & had beautiful little thoughtful touches for our stay throughout. Hosts were lovely & very accommodating. We loved all the beautiful wildlife that came to visit, we had daily Cassowary visits, many beautiful birds coming for a feed throughout the day, abundance of turtles & even a platypus in the creek below, little pademelons visited, nightly possum visit and also saw tree kangaroos in the trees. These were all seen from our balcony. Lovely mapped walks to do also. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Our son & we agreed it was the highlight of our trip to Cairns. We LOVED our stay there & hope to return one day.
