Logan Reserve
When I went there most recently to have a BBQ; Only just one BBQ was actually working. And also there was only one public toilet available as the other was out of order. There was literally lines/queues for both. On a busy & packed HOT Day. A bit disappointing Hobsons Bay City Council! Logan Reserve is the main park at the beach! Heaps of families & children. Not good enough.

Beautiful, serene and an all-in-one package, with a park for families next to a beautiful beach for enthusiasts and unfortunately some cosy places for drug addicts and borderline homeless drunks. We went there as a family with the new arrival and we didn’t feel completely safe when breastfeeding, as there were drunk men in rather less conservative attires, homeless addicts sleeping on the benches etc.The scenery itself is amazing and lots of locals come here over the weekend to enjoy the love and life of this amazing place.

Perfect spot for a picnic with the family or friends. A recent upgrade sees this place Witt food toilets, playground for all ages, tables, chairs and more. Sit under the Norfolk pines or the enormous fig tree and soak up all that Altona has to offer. The pier is across the road and it’s 300m from road to the end.Parking is pretty good but can be more challenging in warmer days. Very kid friendly. Toilets close. Shops are across the road for the usual fish and chips plus supermarket and all other amenities up Pier Street. Wheelchair friendly.

This park is a nice location on west Melbourne. It is really nice location close to beach and shops . Also it has huge area to gather lots of people and plenty of carparks with toilet facilities. If you are looking to have a nice Family BBQ this place is recemented.

Nice little park near shops and opposite the beach. Great place to picnic if you don't like sand in your food but want to be near the sand

A lovely Rotary Club park with beautiful tree's, nice pagola & playground for families. Did I mention the tree's are truly AMAZING. There's even a historical homestead & free Wi-Fi.
