Tamworth Visitor Information Centre
Not as good as other country Information Centres that we have been to. They had a Cafe but it wasn't open. Looked nice. The guitars on the wall signed by various famious Country artists was a nice touch. There were not many art, craft, chutney, sauces and jams here which was disappointing.

The staff were awesome and very helpful the wax museum a wee bit of a disappointment they no longer have a souvenir shop another disappointment as no where in Tamworth is there another so all in all I feel I can't give it 5 stars

Tamworth Visitor Information Centre
Visited the information center and the museum this morning with my son when it just opened at 9 AM. We had a flying visit through the town on our way back to Sydney. What a service we had, both ladies super friendly and helpful. We had a similar experience in Glen Innes yesterday. New England we love your hospitality, we will for sure be back to visit the region in depth.

Overall was good, except for not giving us information about the Toyota free event at the park in the cbd, therefore we missed out on the first night, so that was kind of dissapointing

Tamworth Visitor Information Centre
I was travelling through to Queensland but I decided to take a detour to visit this Info Centre. Firstly the signposts to the car park took me around in circles. Not clear at all and it was nowhere near the Visitors Centre. Not good when one is desperate for the toilet. Secondly, when I moved the car to get closer, I went to the back door and someone had locked it! It was way before 4pm. I was extremely angry. This is not the way to treat visitors. Very bad! I won't be visiting this place ever again!

The ladies in the information Center were very helpful today when we were looking for information on traveling the Waterfall Way and gave us maps, brochures , local knowledge and helpful hints on what we could expect while negotiating this beautiful part of our country.

Tamworth Visitor Information Centre
A great first stop as we arrived in Tamworth for our 4-day stay. Met by Chris, who gave us the best recommendations, including the excellent local art galleries & astronomy centre, & attending the Capitol Theatre’s production of ‘Rent’, - a very enjoyable night out after dinner at the lovely Deco restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in Tamworth, thank you Chris!!
