A great little lake and swamp behind it with a connecting boardwalk to Jaypex park. You can walk around the lake in about 20 minutes and follow onto the boardwalk through the swamp, there are birdwatching boxes and plenty of wildlife around. The lake has a new pontoon, and the lake is usually stocked with small redfin and is a nice spot for a fish. There are barbeques, toilets and some new fitness equipment. There is a nice grassed area leading to a small beach which you can swim from, and a boat ramp. Boats are allowed on certain days as per the signage.

If the odour of smell lake water is your thing, then you're in luck. It's a nice place to chill after ya get used to the smell haha.

Great little lake, to walk around, or have a break from travelling. Make sure you stop at Mr Le cafe for food when in Nhill. Great!!

Nhill is a lovely stop over for our long drive from Adelaide to Melbourne. I would like to spend more time at the lake, just a stroll from the town centre itself. There is a boardwalk there. Lovely
