Be careful of their fees, very expensive, when I queried fees, the accountant was argumentative. He threatened to slow down my tax refund if I didn't agree to fees and charges

I used their services since 2015 (and I was happy with that) but last year I asked them to do a very simple task for me. They didn't give me a quote for that and them they charged me $110 for it. I complained to the account and the owner and I never got a reply or a call from them to discuss about it. For me this is a bad costumers services and I'm very disappointed and I feel disrespected (after 7 years as a client!). I decided to pay the $110 without their reply and I stoped working with them because of it.

Just rude. Who ever I spoke to on the phone has poor customer communication skills. Basically Blamed me for not being in reception if the previous owner needed to call me at any given time?!??? Will not be continuing any business with CTBS and have found a much more accommodating accounting firm.

I have been with CTBS for 18 years, unfortunately Eric sold it and the pricing went up 300% but I stuck with them. I needed them to validate that I am self employed on a rental application, they wanted to charge me $110 just to say I was. Definitely finding a new tax agent for the next tax return.
