This centre is all about a quick turnaround.If you don't mind fish eyes and scuffs in your new paint, returning multiple times after completion for missing wheel pressure sensors and finding lights not properly fitted into bumper after paint, then this is the place for you.Having the work scrutinised prior to handing back the vehicle is a thing of the past here.If your insurance is paying for your hire car, make sure you are happy with the work done before you return it. I learnt the hard way.

I'm not one to normally write a bad review about a business but my experience with Capital S.M.A.R.T Bentleigh East has been frustrating.I had some small bumper damage from someone reversing into my Volvo and was recommended to repair it at this business through my insurer. After I picked it up, the rear bumper was not properly fixed. There was big gaps between different panels. I was informed that they got the 'plastics guys' to work on it because it would have been a wait for a new bumper to arrive. I said this was not acceptable, and they agreed to order a new bumper but it would be a wait. I informed them that it was okay and let me know when it arrived.The new bumper arrived and I dropped off my car at Capital Smart for it to be installed. After I picked up the car and upon taking it home I noticed a number of bumps in the paint work, which indicated it was not painted in a clean environment. I went back to the repairers and they fixed the marks on the paint.Recently, I have now noticed in the sunlight that the paint on the bumper is a completely different colour and not as metallic as the rest of the car as shown in the picture below.I have since gone back to my insurer to insist on seeing an authorised Volvo repairer. As you can see by the photo below, I have no faith in this business to get things right.

Having anything to do with accidents is already a burden... But when arrogant people that say they know what their talking about say that only a front wheel would cause alignment issues, you know that they don't know what their doing. Rear wheels also cause problems worth alignment too... Ever heard of toe in/out.

I was initially reluctant to use Capital SMART when reading some of the reviews on here but I had no choice due to a restriction with my insurance company. However I can say I received top rated customer service at all times. The staff were very receptive and extremely accommodating even when my situation wasn’t straightforward AND the servicemen did a great job. I would definitely use Capital SMART in East Bentleigh again.

I know we’ve been told to remove valuable stuff before dropping off the car so I take full responsibility that my little bag of coins got lost. But seriously???? A bag of coins??? Disgusted more than disappointed.
