This highly talented crew repaired my Birkenstock's to almost new. It got to the stage where the cork had deteriorated so much that I couldn't wear them, now they are back to being an everyday favourite.I also love this store in general, there's lots of leather goods for sale and I love the whole vibe there. A real gem.

Real old school shop experience with real cobblers that work on your shoes. They essentially had to completely deconstruct a pair of my wife's favourite flats that had worn out the soles & the interior but came back almost better than new! The lady at the front counter was very helpful also.

I can’t possibly express how amazing and talented Ideal Shoe Repairs are. They have an amazing and friendly group of staff, prime location, and 25-30 years of expertise. I first came in 2019 with a broken zipper on the on the pair pictured. After looking around, I managed to source the original creator based in Taiwan. I imported them, and asked about 8 different shops, all of them saying they were unable to repair them because they had no experience with mechanism complexity. After nearly giving up, Idea Shoe Repairs accepted the challenge and ended up doing an amazing job with it! Took it back just today day for a minor amendment, which they remembered the original repair, and it was the same professional and knowledgeable service. Great pricing too! Will always be coming back here for repairs and alterations!

I have uneven leg lengths as a result of surgery. They are exceptionally good at installing the lifts i have needed. General shoe repair and repairs on my leather handbag are very good. Prices very reasonable.

Richard and crew did a great job of resoling 32 year old Dayton motorcycle boots, as well as new soles and some stitching on the quarters of similar age Rossi bush boots. Highly recommended. They know their stuff.

We need to cut off part of the padding of shoe to fit an orthopaedic insole. The team did an amazing job. They did not cut away half of the passing but shaved off leaving the full passing face so that it will not slip. Thankful for the constructive advice and great service.
