Tathams Caravan Park

The position, right on the river banks, deserves 4 stars.The condition and facilities deserve 3 stars,The management 1 star. Unfriendly on the borderline of rudeness, nothing you can do to get a smile back.I heard the the previous managesr were very nice, but the current ones must be very unhappy people and it reflects on their interaction with their customers.

Spent Easter at the park in our van,loved the peace.Amenities very clean.We will return,this was my second visit.

Nice little caravan park right on the Murray River, with its on boat ramp. Old style park, toilets are dated but still good. Our 3rd or 4th time here, only around 1hr from Perth. Close to Mandurah or Pinjarra. Small deli out the front,does a nice fish and chips

Older Park mainly filled with permanents,making the park shabby looking. Amenities old but clean,has a dump point ,BBQ area, no camp kitchen .Only a couple of grassed sites face river which is quite picturesque, other sites are close to the residents.

Cathy and Jeff who currently manage the park are so lovely and considerate.Beautiful spot on the river for a platter and drinks. Stand up paddle boarding or kayaking. Boat ramp up the street. Mozzies can be bad so come prepared but overall the perfect place to relax and make some memories with family.

There is deep trouble in this piece of paradise. The owner has a serious attitude problem, treating everyone he encounters as though they are in the midst of a military court marshall. He definitely is in the wrong profession. He is heartless in his dressing down of anyone he perceives as having a weakness. He presents as a bully. I am certainly going to avoid this location in future because of the arrogance of this foolish old man. His site fees are excessive for the standard of the facilities. The facilities are aging and basic, the people seem friendly enough and the location would be wonderful if not for the owner.

We have been here over 2 weeks now and speak to the owners almost on a daily basis.Find them both very approachable and friendly.We are from a generation where we “respect” both others and property.We are hoping to make this a regular stop in years to come.

I tried to buy a semi permanent caravan here, where you were allowed to stay 140 days per year. But I got declined for being FIFO, even though with my swings I'm only here for just over 100 days a year.They want someone that is barely there but willing to spend all their money.Massive discrimination!0/10 would recommend

Very expensive for one night stay. Arrived at 7 stayed till 10 am, cost $40 dollars.

With the owner of this caravan park back onsite, I advise anyone seeking a peaceful holiday to go find somewhere else. The owner is an appaling bully, he seems to have forgotten that good manners and decorum are going to get you much further than beligerance and humiliating the guests who are in fact the ones who bring the income in.There is a truly nasty aspect to this foolish owner who recently lost two good staff members because of one two many insults. In the hands of the recently departed Geoff and Cathy, Tathams Caravan park was beginning to recover from years of neglect.Tathams is a tired delapidated park with a threadbare appearance, I have seen this sort of caravan park before, owners who are unwilling to do sufficient maintenance and still ask their top dollar from anyone who dares to venture into their realm.
