Awesome dog friendly family retreat in a most beautiful spot...pack plenty of food for good home style cooking and good walking shoes to explore the Megalong Valley and surrounding Blue Mountains NP

Recently shared a wonderful weekend at Elsewhere in the Megalong Valley with friends. Everything was perfect .and I hope to return very soon.Thank you Louise and Andrew.

Great house, beautiful setting AND dog friendly

Amazing place with awesome views and the most hospitable hosts..... Had the best time with friends and pets.... Thoroughly recommend to everyone.... You will love it

We just had a wonderful stay.Beautiful scenery, plenty of privacy and all the comforts of a modern home.Kitchen was clean and plenty of pots, pans, plates etc. are provided.Go for a walk on the massive property. There are 4 bicycles in the shed. A nice stream runs on part of the property; watch out for the wombats that live nearby!Can’t wait for another nice long stay.

Fantastic, relaxing house nestled on a hilltop in the Megalong valley. Great to stay at all times of the year but we love staying there in winter as it has a beautiful fireplace to relax next to. Very well appointed and looked after facilities, all you need to do is bring your own food (or eat out up the road !). A great place to get away for the weekend and completely unwind.

The views are lovely. The company was excellent had a nice weekend. Positives, great to be able to take your furry friend. The house was comfortable, beds were comfy with crisp linen, lovely fireplace. Negatives, the road in, is borderline not suitable for regular vehicles and this should be mentioned. Things were somewhat run down. Chipped crockery, espresso machine not working properly, condiments that were out of date. Chopping boards, baking trays and water glasses need to be replaced. Overall things could have been cleaner particularly in the kitchen. The house is described as Superior" accommodation

Arriving in this sensational location we felt immediately at peace with the energy here. Thoughtfully appointed and very comfortable through changing weather, the house feels solid and deeply authentic. The spacious and private situation afforded us a very grounding recharge, especially after crossing the creek and walking off into the bush. Thanks Louise!

I'd rather be Elsewhere - staying there that is.This is the perfect spot for a country break, especially if you're not prepared to dispense with modern conveniences.The house boasts new bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and solid AV equipment. (The internet connection handled streaming services well at 720p, but struggled with 1080p).There are ample amusements, such as board games, DVDs, music, frisbees and bikes. But don't bother to bring your own Spy novels - all of them are already here!It's super remote, but that's part of the appeal; Hiking opportunities and spectacular views abound.We did experience some power outages on our short stay - so make sure you know where the candles are (They’re above the fridge).

Absolutely beautiful..... We had a fantastic weekend away with family. Ideal location, pure serenity. The inside is so welcoming and all everything you need... We will definitely come back
