Strahan Wilderness Lodge
This is definitely not a 3 star hotel. I would rate it a 6 if I could. Beautiful location rooms immaculate and cosy. Shared kitchen and facilities were fantastic. Awesome BBQ and fire pit to sit around and enjoy a wine or 2. John and Desma were so welcoming and friendly. Felt like being with family. Close to Iga to buy groceries and just chill out and enjoy the view. Thankyou for a great 3 days.

Strahan Wilderness Lodge
We love this place! The lodge is about 200 years old, but the room is very comfortable. The best part is its outdoor setting. A big open garden overlooking the tranquil bay and big mountains afar. You can enjoy a few drinks and a BBQ dinner surrounding by the natural beauty. The owners also planned a few different hammock and swing chairs along the bush trail leading down to the water. If you come to Strahan, this is the place to stay.

Strahan Wilderness Lodge
We loved our stay at this lodge. The hosts were friendly and available, the room was comfortable and clean, the kitchen area and lounge area had all we needed plus more. The views were spectacular from the property, and little niches to sit in and enjoy it were provided. It's on the edge of town so a car is needed. A great place from which to relax and enjoy the area.

Great little lodge!Never done a B&B before but these guys were great! Very caring and friendly. We had power issues night 1 and they happily moved us to a larger room as an apology for the inconvenience.Stunning location, will definitely miss waking up to the view!Going to miss my chickens too! I named them spotty and hei hei, they felt like my pets for 3 days.Definately would return.

Strahan Wilderness Lodge
Before deciding to stay at the lodge, we researched available accommodation in the Strahan area and it was the character of the lodge that swayed our decision ... and I’m very pleased with that decision. The proprietors, Desma and John, made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was warm and comfortable, and had all the facilities we could possibly want. We’ve enjoyed our 3 days at the lodge and when we next visit Strahan, we shall endeavour to stay here again. We love this place.
