Yarra Valley Lodge
Lovely room looking out on to the golf course where we saw hundreds of kangaroos. We took a stroll in the evening and meandered around the kangaroos who seemed very used to the nearby presence of humans! Gas fire in the atrium with cosy couches. We went out for dinner in a local restaurant (meletos) so can’t say much about the restaurant.

My stay here was an absolutely great experience.Richard at the reception was very helpful in assisting me when I left my card in the room. His customer service was on point.The scenery is beyond amazing too. Waking up to kangaroos in amongst the golf course is such a beautiful sight. Reminds me of when I was living at my parents home in the bush.If you're thinking of getting away and reconnecting to nature, I would highly recommend anyone check out this hotel!

Quick and easy check-in/out experience and friendly reception staff. They do take down your card number upon check-in which is pretty standard. Room was spacious and very clean, and comfortable bedding. The breakfast buffet was great and had lots of options. Recommend to anyone considering staying in the area.

A very relaxing getaway among kangaroos and beautiful nature.The buffet breakfast was awesome with plenty of variety.The staff were very helpful and friendly especially Tracy and reception staff who went out of there way to accomodate us.Overall a nice relaxing hotel away from the city.

Vintage hotel stay in lap of the yarra valley which is surrounded by a beautiful golf course. The food at lodge bar is average. We tried the churros with chocolate sauce but the chocolate sauce was watered down Hershey's sauce. They are not offering a service of the room for stays less than 2 or 3 nights which is a pity and a let down. There didn't seem to be any housekeeping service as well. For refill of toiletries as well as a simple request for towels, the housekeeping line is automatically redirected to reception and they ask the guests to self serve at the reception. Luckily we ran into the housekeeping staff the following morning in the hallway and asked if they could service our room, they were kind enough to do it. The staff is very courteous but the management should look into the service issue.Regardless, the location is fantastic and worth the stay.The breakfast was decent with a score of 6.5/10.

6 STARS!!! We had our wedding here in April and they were SIMPLY THE BEST. It may not be schmick like a Sheraton, but it has charm, beauty, amazing surround views and absolutely fabulous customer service that is far better!! The team at Yarra Valley Lodge are one of the most obliging folks we've ever encountered. Their goal was to make to make our wedding day special and that they did. No request was too much for them, no one ever made us feel like we were being difficult with all our special" requests that were important to us. This extended across the board from reception

Lovely quiet location with a peaceful outlook. Nice reception with fireplace and wide corridors and open window spaces.Rooms are quiet and comfortable, however decor and bathrooms are quite datedBathroom had separate bath which is a plus but the shower could be more spacious.Nice walk along the Yarra.I have stayed a few times due to the location and luxury compared to nearby alternatives.

We were here because of attending a wedding in nearby venue. Friendly and helpful staffs. Very nice environment. We like our room which has gorgeous view. Good for an escape. I give 4 stars is because the location is a bit far from city where restaurants are (about 15 minutes drive). Not a complain; We just cannot have both convenience and getaway.
