I can’t rate Travis and the guys highly enough when installing our new Actron unit. Travis bent over backwards to rectify some issues with our controller which wasn’t his problem. His after sales service was 11 out of 10 and he went the extra mile at his expense to make sure we were 100% happy.

Highly recommend Superior Heating and Cooling. I wanted to replace my old AirCon. I got in touch with a lot of Vendors but Superior heating had the best price. The best thing about them was they did a free survey before recommendation and quote and also answered all my questions. The technicians who installed the AirCon were very professional and they knew what they were doing, they were on time and finished the work cleanly. Another reason to recommend them is that they are doing things which others are charging like old unit removal. They took the old unit and all the pipes with them and other vendors are were charging me for new pipes as well.I have not used the AirCo yet as weather is still cold in Melbourne but im sure i will not have any complains.

From the booking and quotation process - thanks to Jenny and Josh, to the re-installation and installation of my split system was so smooth and thorough. Rick, Jackson, Isaac and Dean who installed my split system yesterday did an outstanding job and they were so professional and courteous. I’m happy and satisfied with their service.If you want superior, excellent and quality workmanship and cleanliness don’t hesitate to call Superior Heating and Cooling. I am glad I made the choice to call them. I highly recommend this company and their service.

An update: I was informed that my emails never made their way to Travis. I received a prompt response from Travis after expressing my dissatisfaction here and he has promised that the issues will be fixed this week. He was under an impression that their last visit fixed the issue.We got two Daikin units installed in November 2021. Both the units have some issues with the installation. One of the units apparently holds up water and gives off a musty smell and makes sloshing noise when it is windy outside. When we raised this issue, their representative attempted to fix the issue once, but it was not resolved. We have since been trying to contact them since last 1 year but all we get in response is that your request has been forwarded to Travis" and we haven't heard back in-spite of numerous followups. We were referred to SUPERIOR HEATING AND COOLING (SHAC) by a few work colleagues. After our Heating system died, another company came had a look to repair but to old and parts hard to get so quoted on reverse air to replace both heating and evaporated systems. So glad we got another quote and decided on SHAC.If you want outstanding service, excellent quality workmanship and cleanliness , professionalism, excellent communication, best products on the market, this is the company to call.From Josh (sales), the girls in the office, Drew & Zac (onsite techs), Travis (works supervisor) we got the most outstanding service, nothing from start fo finish was a problem. They even organised plastering to be done to cover old evap system vents and took both old systems out of our roof, something other companies don’t offer.If you read a bad review from anyone in relation to this company I would be shocked.

Update 17-Feb2023One full year with Braemer Gas unit TQM5X30 and Add-on Actron 15Kw refrigerated cooling system.Summer starting almost Nov-2022 till Feb2023 used add-on cooling as required when it was 29-30deg range. Found the Actron unit to be good and cooled our house within first 15mins.Generally, we turn on the Aircon unit around 1.30pm post lunch when it starts to get too hot.Set the unit at 23deg at start and unit cools the entire house in 15mins or so to a pleasant temperature and then set the unit to 24deg and run till 5pm or so and turn off the unit. (to save money).Around 10pm, we turn on the unit again (set to 23deg) for one hour or so and then turn off the unit once pleasant. Using the aircon in such a way, our maximum bill during the summer season has been 120Aud max range. So, we feel it is reasonable for some comfort.Maximum Gas heating bill we received was 350Aud as we used too much during mid July to early Aug.Add-on Actron units are Fixed Speed units and hence run continuously all the time and some acceptable noise at max fan speed 10.Alternative solution we found -->> Set (save) the Braemer and Actron units fan speed to speed 8 and the unit is mostly silent.Braemer's variable fan speed tech ensures smooth switching on/off of the unit. Hope Actron also adopts variable fan speed tech for fixed speed units.Our experience, it all comes down to the quality installation as mentioned below. Spending a few hundred dollars on quality install is better is our experience.Hope this helps anyone who is on the lookout for heating/c................Update10 June22We have used both Ducted Air-con and aslo now the BRAMER Dcuted heating system. The unit's operation found to be flawless, dependable and reliable.Till date Gas Bills 130 Aud range. Elec Bills 90Aud range for Single storey 260sq. size home.Observation:As both gas heating and add-on cooling run with a single R1.5 ducting system, heat holds better inside the home.(Eliminating evap duct stops heat escaping from it, triggering heating unit's thermostat to turn-on regularly).Adding rubber bushings below the unit in roof drastically reduces vibrations.................Update 27 Mar22The Braemer heating unit is smooth and silent.. Variable fan speed makes operations smoother- unit starts at lower fan speed, then switches to a higher speed. Once set temp is reached, switches to a lower fan speed and then turns off.Adding ducts to laundry/bathrooms helps.................06 Feb-2022In 2014, Gas heating unit from the builder was found to be poor quality (entire roof structure vibrate/continuous loud noise all time).Avoiding talking to builder,, we researched ourselves on heating unit brands, forum reviews and some quotes.Chose Superior after our visit in person and also based on reviews in 2014. Travis advised us Braemer THM520N and Breezeair Evap unit then and got it installed. The Braemer unit was flawless in operation till 2022 without any issues.Evap unit was not effective as it was blowing hot air when too hot..!!. Not installer issue.In early Feb-2022, we got the two independent systems, Braemer and Evap Cooling unit including ducts disposed off to scrap.Replaced by a new 03-zoned Single R1.5 rated duct for both Heating (Braemer TQM5X30) with add-on Actron 15KW cooling unit discharge fans facing up) with 01x new ducts added to laundry/bathrooms. Roof space also is cleaner now with single duct.Cleared few hot days (35 deg) cycles and extremely happy with uniform cooling all through home.Much better than evap cooling(no windows open, no stink as exp) if OK to spend a little extra.Entire process from quote to install was very smooth. Thanks to Travis, Josh and all team.Quality installation processes with genuine accessories are the key to flawless running of the units, the first time it is turned on as we see.Surely and strongly recommend Travis and team from Superior Heating and Cooling systems.We will surely use their services in future too.............
