Was a bit of a wait on a very cold eveningEateries are a walking distancePlace is clean with outside charging ports.. very convenient.The waiting room could do with phone charging spots

A wonderful museum packed with a multitude of objects - Kate Kelly's bed! Railway nostalgia and an extensive collection of rare and exotic animals from the Ward collection.Maintained by a group of dedicated volunteers it is entirely self funded and very worthy of your support.

Great interesting museum and for only $5. They did it tough back then Be prepared to bump into the mannequins and take a photo with them because they are lonely. Worth timing it with a trip to Lithgow and back on the train to see some spectacular scenery

Plethora of vintage artefacts that take you back to the old times. It has something for all kinds of museum enthusiasts. Head in to see preserved birds, insects and animal specimens, vintage cameras, typewriters, cash registers, clothes and the list goes on. It's a building that captures the good old days where living was simple.

Our lovely museum is a great place to explore in Mount Victoria. There are all sorts of fun, weird and whacky things including taxidermy, bottled specimens, ploughs, vintage cameras, switch board (?), clothing and more. It is so charming and fun. Be sure to take a look when it's open.

I wish that all communities could have a great way like this of maintaining a strong link with the early settlers, the fashion and live style.. sometimes reflecting on the tough times. Run by volunteers.. community people.. Well done.. a important place to stop at.. a destination. If you come by car park it.. (or train for that matter)... and go for a stroll down the steps and north long side the older homes..up the hill to the very old (was once a pub) guest house.. though the park to the GWH.. then down Station Street towards the railway station.. some neat shops and cafes along way back to the station.

Went on a history and ghost hunt here. Amazing place. The collections are unbelievable.
