We had purchase guardsman as an extra when we purchased our couch from from plush. We had an unknown stain and reported it within 5 days to guardsman under warranty. The receptionist we spoke to was hesitant to proceed with our claim due to the unknown stain but offered us a free clean without guarantee. Within 20 hours we had a work order placed and contacted by Pete from Trenya (sorry if the name is incorrect it’s going off voicemail) who could attend our property within the next few hours and complete the work order. Pete was professional and accomodating. He removed the sticky stain and had our couch looking showroom by the time he left. Very happy with Pete’s service, thank you!!

Unfortunately I have had an extremely poor experience with Guardsman Warranty. It has been over four months since my claim was accepted, and other than an initial visit, there has been no progress, as the business is allegedly still waiting for replacement materials.Communication has been poor and I have had to follow up on a fortnightly basis.Do not recommend.

DONT BUY - we were on holidays and came home to find our sofa damaged by our pets. But they claimed that because it was out of the 5 days window - it is not covered. Now, how do we claim within 5 days when we weren't even home to know? What a scam.

What a scam. Refused to honour the warranty on my brand new furniture because someone else paid for it (they purchased the furniture and sprays to furnish the brand new house I purchased). Absolutely ridiculous way to get out of a claim. Won't honour a claim from the 'original purchaser' either. Complete rort and the product was a waste of $200 as it doesn't work - I have stains on my furniture that won't come out. Don't waste your money!

8 months after accidently burning my leather lounge, Guardsman havent been able to find a close match leather to repair my lounge.Their solution is that they will refund the $200 I paid to cover my lounge against any accidental damages and my lounge will still have a burn mark in it.I paid $3800 for my lounge and it's now worth nothing with a burn mark in it.I wouldn't purchase this cover EVER again!! They state they cover accidental burns and damage but they clearly don't!!

Lies / scam warranty. They do not cover anything. Over 5k for a Plush leather lounge, paid for the guardsman warranty on top but it’s all lies. Beware - this warranty is just a waste of your money and they’ll tell you it doesn’t look like it’s an accident, it was intentional or it’s normal wear and tear!

In process of taking them to the ombudsman after over a year of them just not wanting to fulfill their contractual obligations- I would never recommend this product to anyone.

After being put through the wringer, with demand after demand, they didn’t even visit came to an ultimate assessment over photos, only to discover they only sub contract out the work now and if it exceeds their initial insurance amount they took from you, now over 5 years ago, after months of nothing , and the absolute 3rd degree of requests, they don’t want to honour it, just some kind of massive favour their doing you, total waste of time, @plush and @nickscali shouldn’t be using this disreputable 3 rd party, it really Doesn’t along to their brands. What a joke, pity there isn’t zero stars .

So happy with the service I’ve received from Guardsman. My baby was sick over the weekend and I called them on Monday and sent the required photos. They had a cleaner booked to come and clean it within 2 days. Very grateful they sorted it out for us.

TOTAL SCAMPLEASE AVOIDTHEY DESTROYED MY LOUNGE !!I PAID thousands of dollars for my lounge I then paid hundreds of dollars for guardsman Watranty guarantee and THEY HAVE DESTROYED MY LOUNGE AND DONE NOTHING TO HELP. They have avoided all calls and dragged the email chain on for months. I am not going to take legal action !!
