We have hired Protrade to organize the importation (customs clearance, handling in the port) of our van that was shipped in from Europe.After a very positive first contact we were extremely disappointed about their actual performance.the clearance of the the van was delayed mainly for reasons beyond Protrades control, but they failed to keep us posted and we had to chase them almost daily for updates.The person in charge went on holidays and did not inform us that the file would be handled by a colleague during his absence. When we called the next day for an update, the colleague was as surprised as us that our file had landed on her desk.One week was lost because Protrade forgot to declare our personal effects which where in the van, despite us reminding them in writing and over the phone about these items.We felt, subjectively, that the person in charge was not on the ball and would not recommend using this company.
