Outdoor exercise equipment

It's a really good place to do exercise, so beuty and chilly. The outdoor equipment is enough if you are a starter but is a quir poor

Very nice area

Clean, well-maintained, not busy, and a great view out across the river. There’s also a new basketball court (half court), a bike pump station, water bubbler, and undercover table and chairs nearby.

The chest press and pull down machines extend 25cm only, so you can not maintain proper form when using this equipment. There are two chin up bars at 90 angle to each other so two people can not use this equipment at the same time. There is another chin up bar that is angled at 45 degrees to the horizontal, this can not be used for pull ups. The shoulder press machine has not been installed. Clovelly beach and royal Park Launceston outdoor gyms are much better value for money. Council shoulda checked out other outdoor gyms before embarking on this venture. Also, I don't understand why they would put 12 of the same machines in the one location. It defies common sense, outdoor gyms are great but this implementation needs some thought.

Really enjoy using the equipment on the river. Instruction for use clear. Clean and in working order

Dont have parallels for tricep

Great location, plenty of equipment to use, gets very hot around midday so make sure you bring plenty of water
