They checked my hair and made a perfect match, Tyiana explained everything she was doing and I felt very confident that I would have a great outcome, which I did. Would like to thank the friendly staff at The Hair Studio. They were able to match my colour from my salon in Melbourne (Kevin Murphy product) with their Revlon colour products. Was astounded by the colour and how effectively it worked in my hair. Wow I am absolutely thrilled with my new haircut. Wanted to go pretty short after growing my hair for few years. The consult was very thorough and I was made feel like I was supported in my decision and being asked about my satisfaction during the cut ensured I was happy with the progress. Thanks for a wonderful experience and I will be back next time in the area

Extremely disappointed in my experience with this hair salon. I asked for light blonde half head of foils plus a bob cut. What I got was orange hair roots, not great colour coverage and the cut is wispy, not blunt, and all different lengths. I was offered a quote, unexpectedly, after being seated so I felt quite under pressure to accept the huge price of $455 but I thought maybe it would be worth it. It definitely was not. I've been getting my hair done for 20 years and I have been treated like a fool with explanations from the owner such as maybe the water quality where I'm washing my hair is the cause of it. I live out of town, so I asked for a refund of $200 which was turned down. The owner offered me to come back in so they could tone it but what kind of solution is that when you live 900km from the city? Since then, I have had to buy several toning products to try and correct the orange throughout my hair which balances it for a day or two only and then it is back. This tells me that the wrong product was used, incorrect colour and not enough toner while in the salon. Not to mention the cut - I've had a bob cut many times over the years and it always sits fine without blow drying or straightening. Not this time. What a waste of money and time!
