Extremely rude staff. Despite showing ID at the entrance, the staff have some sort of power trip where they treat you like you're not welcome in the store (I'm in my 30's, so clearly not a teenager).Definitely not going back here again. Maybe try welcome your customers into the store and not act like you want them to leave?Edit: this was also on 7/12 as per the other customers review, so clearly this staff member needs to fix their attitude.

Horrible experience in my first online order with this store. I put my English name in my order, which different from the name on my ID. I know that it is my mistake, so I want to show the store manager with the email and message I received from BWS about the order, the order invoice , my social media account and my BWS account (which in my English name) to prove my identification. He didn't check those evidences I showed to him and just said NO to me. Excuse me??? That's not the way to doing business and treat you customer, I believe that they are not really want to help customers.I called the customer service centre and provided my BWS account details to them. From the conversation, I know that orders in my legal name and orders in my English name are showing in the account, they know everything!!!My first online order with BWS Mentone, but also the last one. And will not back to this non-customer service store any more.

Visited store at 4:20 on 7-12-21.Okay prices but Staff seems rude. Answer to my simple question about gift options was “How do i know?”

Terrible service from a young man with glasses. He basically shoo’d me out of the store because I came in just before closing time.

Friday night 13 April at about 7pm My 18 year old daughter and I went to BWS Mentone to buy a carton of beer for my husband as a treat for working so hard. I was refused service because my 18 year old did not have ID on her. The store clerk was an older White man who was extremely rude and was unable to explain very clearly why, based on alcohol legislation I could not purchase the beer. In fact he advised I should have left my daught outside and should do this when trying to purchase beer at another retailer?????? I went home and checked legislation the only thing I found was a seller of prepackaged alcohol can refuse service if they are suspicious the purchaser is buying on behalf of a minor. I respect the law and understand this clearly. I have no idea why the store clerk was suspicious that I was buy a carton of Great Northern (old man beer) for my 18 daughter, who is of legal age anyway. Appalling service and experience I shall no longer purchase from BWS anywhere again and I will stick to buying at COSTCO, Liquiorland or one of the many other retailers. Thanks for nothing Safeway BWS.
