I have been with Formula Automotive since my 3 years fixed price Toyota service plan ended in 2018. My Toyota Fortuner GX sees plenty of action off road (just not very often) and has done some tough trips. Always serviced and fixed by the team at Formula Automotive and I get explanations of the work that needs doing and MANY times have saved money e.g. when the Fortuner was not braking as well as it used to, Pedders Brake and Suspension check said I needed new rotors and pads all round ($3500+ for one of their off the shelf packages). My rotors were barely worn at all with glazed pads causing my brake issues (from overheating the brakes while going down the NSW ranges with a heavy 4WD). Formula Automotive advised after having a look that we machine the rotors and fitted new pads and brakes are perfect now at a small fraction of the quote from Pedders! Highly recommend this excellent workshop and location next to the bus station at Stones Corner makes drop off and pick up a breeze! More work planned on the Tuna over the coming weeks and I have full trust the project will be completed expertly!

Did some excellent electrical work on my new 2015 SR5 Hilux. 8 years ago now...At my requests they installed aftermarket headlights and other front end lighting modifications on the vehicle.Tidy work... still good, no problems.

I have been going to Formula One Automotive for over 2 years now, all of the staff Mechanic's & Reception are extremely knowledgeable, efficient & genuinely care about the up keep, performance & safety of your car. They guided me with my 1st purchase of a used car & have shared valuable knowledge regarding since, I trust them so much that I travel from the Gold coast still for my routine services : ) Paula (receptionist) is very efficient, knowledgeable and a absolute delight to deal with.

I won’t go anywhere else, Formula Automotive does everything. I can trust the team to do a great job and the price is fair. I have had urgent repairs on my car and the team have gone above and beyond to fix them. The team are friendly, I always feel welcomed and the workshop is clean, they really do take pride in their work.

Hi, I took my car in with a list of items to be fixed and checked. I am a backpacker and was only planning to stick around in Brisbane for a couple days, explaining this, I wanted to get the car worked on a bit with the most important issues solved as I had already had it checked extensively with a different mechanic upon purchase. The lady was lovely over the phone and the same in person.However, they only performed a quick check charging me $90 and relisted all the issues I had come to them with, whilst adding some additional ones which were maybe attempts to garner extra work. The strange thing was that I found a strong issue with my breaks which they said were completely fine, which led me to further question these checks. In terms of actually working on the car I was told by an angry mechanic over the phone that the main mechanic wasn't in, and that my car had too many issues for them to start doing work on and they'd only be able to provide quotes the following week and that it was this long process. I wish the inability to fix anything had been communicated upfront especially given my timeframe and budget.So instead of actually achieving anything I feel like I wasted $90 for a 15 min check I could of performed using google search engine. After already having paid for an extensive 2hr+ check before purchasing the car. My experience was frustrating and am still yet to receive a quote for the works with a priority list for addressing issues as promised.Be prepared to spend out when dealing with this company. You will be confronted with issues that aren't issues, and just overall slow process and time waste. The receptionist had lovely customer service but I can't say the same for the mechanics.Steer clear!
