SIA Essendon Medical Centre

A friend had recommended i try SIA Medical Centre in Essendon, after my usual practice / GP constantly being ‘booked out’ with no waiting list or taking ‘walk-ins’. An attentive and efficient reception staff member made all the difference and the online new patient registration process was quick and easy.Didn’t feel like just another number in the queue and was seen by the specific doctor I had requested within 10 minutes! Will definitely consider moving across to SIA Medical in Essendon based on today’s experience.

Doctor was funny and caring and showed interest in my well-being. Front desk staff were chatting, gossiping, laughing while a line of four people stood there waiting to be offered help. The conversation WASNT about work or patients but personal and they showed a real lack or interest in dealing with waiting customers.

the doctor was extremely nice and efficient, What a shame that we had to wait 1 hour after our appointment time before being seen...The doctor didn't even know we were there waiting for so long...maybe the appointment system needs a little check!

I have been seeing the same doctor at SIA for a few years now and very happy.It is very clean and staff are polite.The doctor I see (Dr Tadros) shows compassion and makes the time to make sure she is very thorough with my medical matters.

As a bulk-billed walk-in, the wait time is reasonable, around 30-60mins. The doctors are thorough but efficient. Today l also needed the nurse which was another wait of about 5-10mins. Doctors are all very competent, but few of them do pap-smear tests. Reception staff are helpful & friendly & there is a very convenient pharmacy right next door.

Today I saw doctor Richard and he was great, didn't wait much for my appointment and he was very helpful.Front desk and laboratory staff were also very friendly and fast.

Went at around 7pm after experiencing rapid onset of urinary tract infection symptoms within a few hours.Was seen within 5 minutes, explained fully about payment ($88) and that I would receive Medicare rebate of around $40+ directly to my bank account.Received script, filled at adjoining pharmacist, literally took first 2 tablets of course of anti biotic in car, went home and began experiencing relief from symptoms within a few hours.Coming from working in a hospital, I found staff to be friendly, explained things fully and I’m very happy with the service I received.

Cannot fault SIA Essendon. Every time I have an appointment they are attentive and always thorough. The doctors have been so wonderful with my baby. We are so lucky to have such a great practice nearby. Thank you SIA!
