Googarra Beach Caravan Park

Planned to stay 1 night, 2 weeks later we were still there, great park ,friendly people which make you feel very welcome.Happy hour is the best to get to know everyone there with a fire going.showers are great, very clean park. Owners of the park make you feel very welcome, There is always something happening at the park such as dart comps, happy hour, knitting lessons,etc.Park has its own ice, bait, fish and chips take away,Petrol,and own little pub out the back and a General store.If you like fishing is the place to go.Close to many Islands to see if you have a boat.We will be back again.

What a little gem this is. Couldn't have asked for a better park to stay at, very clean and well maintained.Nina and Ron are great :)Our only regret is that we didn't find this park sooner.

Nice quiet park. Clean amenities. Plenty of space and lots of green grass to park any size van.Tavern right next door.Easy Drive to mission Beach and Tully township. Dog friendly and a beach very close to take dog for a run..

AmazingNQ Z Owners held our recent road trip and Googarra van park was the destination.Nina and Ron were the ultimate hosts and provided a friendly, comfortable and relaxed environment for us to get together.Beautiful food, great live music and amazing hosts. The park is spaces with excellent management and shop and brilliant take away food.

Well this park is a disappointment. We asked for a site close to amenities as I have severe Arthritus. Our site is quite some walk for me. I use a walking stick and to carry my shower gear and my stick is going to be a feat in itself Don't be fooled by the photos of the park it's nothing like what is posted. Also the park must have had their lawn mower stolen. The grass hadn't been mown for ages. We won't be coming back.

Peaceful quiet park and well looked after. Thick grass everywhere makes the place feel 10 degrees cooler. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Googarra Beach Caravan Park in late September 2019 and had a wonderful time. There were three adults and two little girls and we spent the time swimming in the pool and going sightseeing in the surrounding areas. The campsite is grassy and the ablution blocks spotless. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this caravan park to anyone who wants to stay along the Cassowary Coast.
