There is a reason why there are so many negative reviews about the Potts Point Auspost shop. It really is the worst.The times that i have visited, the lines are very long and slow moving. When you do get to the front, the staff are short tempered and rude. I do feel sorry for them a little bit, but there is no reason to be rude. If you don't know for certain what you need, you will be made to feel like you shouldn't be there.It is a really unenjoyable experience visiting.

most staff are rude and dismissive, i can usually just put up with it (i know what it’s like in retail) but the woman who served me on the morning 13/6/22 was so clearly miserable at work and completely taking her hate out on the customers, terrible representation for auspost

Slowest and rudest Australia post in in aus! The line up is always out the door.Lady with blonde hair and glasses attitude is disgusting, literally throws your parcel down on the counter and is VERY rude even when everyone (at least during my visits) is polite. If you don’t want to work there then quit!!!This place needs to be looked into by australia post, the service is slow (which the community will tolerate and is use too) but the customer service is absolutely disgusting.

The queues can be long but staff are super helpful and quick. Usual queue time is 0-5mins. If you collect your parcel after 12pm the shops parcel pick up has a designated queue when it's busyThe PO Box area could really do with having a ceiling fan to move the air a bit

All prior reviews are on the money. This place is slow and unorganised. Parcel collection is 30+ minutes during the week, and double that on a Saturday (when they decide to open). Would definitely recommend redirecting your mail anywhere else.

The wait time is one issue, but the extremely rude staff is something else. I've been to the store on multiple occasions and with different staff members the attitude problem is consistent. A stand-out is the tall blonde, who seems thinks customer service involves berating people in front of other customers for asking simple questions.

Extremely rude male staffer. Upon asking a question about parcel pick up he did not want to engage and spoke in a raised voice, was condescending and shockingly rude. I am surprised that he’s allowed to speak to people like this and it’s simply accepted? Unacceptable behaviour.

Snail-mail lives, for now! This Australia Post outlet has been my go-to for just over 20 years now. Save for 1 wall and a shopfront window littered with kids toys and electronic gadgets, nothing has really changed too much. Even the service. Hence the 5 stars. It's refreshing to see that the more things change in this world the more Potts Point Post Shop stays the same, to a point. Dated, perhaps, but far from antiquated. Go Snail!

I'm about to go and pick-up a parcel. And as with today. Each time I go there. I automatically expect to be part of a decent sized queue. It is just too busy. However. If all counters are being manned. Then there is not much else that can be done. And people have mentioned that the staff can be rude. Well, to be fair. The customers can also be rude.Buttom line. Australia Post does not come close to being good enough. They charge the money. But don't provide enough in return.

The staff are for the most part super helpful and lovely, with a couple on the team unfortunately quite scary and mean, but aside from that, for the most densely populated suburb in Sydney it's simply not efficient enough. Parcel collection should be from 7.30am and double staffed on Saturdays when the queue can sometimes be as long as 45 minutes-1 hour, with the queue out to Macleay st. Also, often when not home, a card is not left so you don't realise you haven't received your parcel until days or weeks later. Not ideal.
