Tooleybuc Motel

Great location to stop while travelling for our family!Our host was kind and helpful, and the beds were very comfortable. Also it is located near a great playground along the Murray for the kids to burn travelling energy, and next to a hotel with good hospitality where the people served us a very nice dinner. We will be back next time we travel through!

Rang to enquire if I could get to the Motel due to the floods in the area and was rudlely advised to look at the government websites, then was hung up on. Will not stay here if we could get to the motel.Reply to OwnerDave...I suggest you get your Crystal Ball Serviced as none of your assumptions are correct, yes assumptions.I find your reply rather entertaining and will leave it up for people to find, as you said entertaining.1. Yes it was 10pm but as a fellow business owner I turn my phone off and let the calls go to voicemail, welcome to the 21st Century....I called the Sporting Club and found the information I needed in 2 minutes by a very helpful young lady, even suggested alternatives if the road floods again, VERY HELPFUL. I have since made reservations at an alternative accomodation establishment in Tooleybuc!2. Yes I was making an inquiry about the roads closed in Tooleybuc as why would I go that way if I could not get through your town.3. I was advised by the Murray River Police in (Deniliquin) to call a local business to find out the latest road closures as the Murray River Council is closed until the 4th of January. I would assume that a local would know what roads are closed in a town of 300 people.4. The NSW Roads, and VIC Roads websites had conflicting information hence me calling the NSW Police, who intern advised to call the Murray River Council, which I did, they are closed until the 4th of January.As I am going to a funeral in Bathurst I could not wait until the 4th of January.So.. in summary....Yes my review is warranted.

We had a wonderful time at the Tooleybuc Motel over Christmas this year. Most others we met at the motel were only staying over night on their way to somewhere else but we stayed 4 nights at the motel and had a ball. The pool was perfect on the hot days, the room was super comfortable, air con worked a treat and the owners were really lovely. It turned out to be a great base from which to explore other parts of the Murray/Mallee region. If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxed holiday with a classic Aussie feel, the Tooleybuc Motel is the place for you.

Good place, parking area just outside the living place, room is big and comfortable, although some equipment is old, but everything is price worth.

Tooleybuc is the perfect place to stay when travelling to and from Adelaide and we think this motel has the atmosphere and location. Rooms are clean comfortable and a well equipped kitchen, showers are great and Dave will provide a great hot breakfast at a reasonable price. We will be back.

i was unable to sleep due to an insect infestation in the room on arrival. during the night it got worse with bugs continuously landing on my face and under my arms. I have photos. The room floor in the morning was covered and I had to walk over them. I left early as I was so disgusted. I wrote comments for owner on feedback and have had no contact initiated by them. I have paid a lot less for a lot better.

Very clean and well presented little country motel. Great staff who make you feel very welcome. All this next door to a very cool and tastefully renovated little country pub.

Fantastic, a few cold bevies, great tea,and fantastic service from Millie...a must stop.
