We recently had a new Esse wood fire oven installed. Ellisha from Thornton & Blake provided fantastic, proactive customer service and took a genuine interest in our project. More than once, Ellisha helped us overcome potential setbacks to ensure that the Esse could be integrated into the overall design. The oven is in and it is everything we had hoped for. We had great service from the friendly staff at Thornton & Blake. We bought a slow combustion wood heater. Firstly, and surprisingly, they beat the metropolitan competitor on price. Then they advised us what we needed in efficient and professional manner. They (well, Alicia to be specific) answered our many questions with patience and attention. And they lined up the installer (Andrew) who was also very professional and careful with a difficult through-wall/ground floor installation. Can't fault them, really.

The team went over above in that the assistance afforded in precisely matching the paint in our 'Snug' tv room, thus facilitating 'touch-up' painting, (and not needing to repaint the whole room), was very much appreciated.Jill took a personal interest in our project, and was invested in the process and the outcome.The installers were very efficient, courteous, and friendly, an asset to the T&B team, and I would recommend them without reservation.

I recently replaced all the curtains in a large living area. Anne at Thornton and Blake was incredibly helpful and lovely to deal with. The curtains were hung by Job and Vincent who were not only extremely professional but fast and meticulous also. I was so pleased with the end result and would certainly use Thornton and Blake in the future. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Purchased blockout roller blinds through Thornton & Blake. Extremely happy with the quality of the blinds. Both the material and the mechanism are excellent quality. Large blinds yet easy to adjust. Also impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail provided by Thornton & Blake. Highly recommend.

Have the rudest people in their showroom. My daughter was there enquiring about a heater, and someone called Kate, looked her up and down, saying “they are very expensive. As if my daughter, who has tattoos, would not be able to afford it. I will be reporting them for discrimination.

We're very happy with our (several sets) of cellular blinds. Minor delays over Christmas/New Year, and supplier hiccup with one delivery, but quickly resolved. Great communication from T & B. Highly recommend them as a great local firm to deal with.

The team at Thornton and Blake were super friendly and helpful (and patient) in helping me with a recent renovation. A last minute decision for a professional colour consultation was accomodated swiftly and was well worth it. The finished product had people stopping in the street and the house sold in 4 days!
