Amazing place! I have been visiting Wentworth Falls for years, and had heard of it, but never managed to go. The fresh food is amazing, and there are also so many great groceries to buy for later...I'll have to go here a lot more often to make up for all the times I didn't go in the past!Highly recommended!

Amazing banh mi's with so many vegan options and even offer wholemeal bread! Absolutely delicious through i do wish they would extend their hours on when they serve food. I have came past a few times an unfortunately they only serve their banh mi's from 10-2.

This place is just amazing. Such a great selection of Asian foods, condiments and spices despite being such a small shop. Prices are reasonable and the service is just fantastic. Every time we visit we are greeted by such friendly staff.Edit: Was able to try their pho and laksa takeaway today and was blown away at how amazing it tasted. Top 3 laksas I've ever had.

I have loved visiting this haven in Wentworth Falls. It was my go-to place for hard-to-find Asian & Indian groceries in the central tablelands.I was doing a search for a green curry online & saw it was available. I didn’t realise it was the same store until I saw their physical location, so happily placed an order to pick up on my way through the mountains in a few weeks and asked if they could hold it for me.I received a terse response of:“Hi Helena, we are not doing internet orders as it states on the front page of the website.” from Bradley.I had not gone through the website’s home page so had not seen the notice. Google search had taken me directly to the product page. It was listed as available & the order went through seamlessly.I told this to Bradley.I then asked “Are you able to do phone orders please? Will you process a refund or just not process the payment at all?”To which Bradley emailed back with a curt:“I will issue a refund.”No apologies, no information about phone orders, no niceties, nothing.I emailed again :”So are you able to do a phone order or put the items aside for me please?“Bradley fire back with:“We do not stock that product anymore due to supply issues and as far as I am aware it is not Available in Australia anymore.”The website still shows the item as available to purchase.I had I interrupted Bradley at a once-in-a-lifetime family reunion?No acknowledgement of a lack of attention to their website, no effort at customer service, not even the most basic, business-like email etiquette, nothing.I’m bitterly disappointed as I have always had a lovely experience shopping here. This shop appears to fulfil a niche so perhaps due to their popularity, they feel manners, customer service & keeping websites updated aren’t necessary. Do they feel they can afford to be rude & dismissive of the odd customer? Or perhaps they feel being in sleepy Blue Mountains, online shopping is a city thing & a bit of a big yawn. Why have a website at all?I found the item elsewhere at an Asian food outlet.I will not be shopping at The Laughing Elephant Again.

Truely a hidden gem, found at the back of a shopping centre with the banh mi counter hidden at the back of the grocery aisle.Trust me it’s worth the effort.Fresh, generous, and truly value for money.Will be back.

Amazing, fresh Bahn mi, a must try! Delicious pho and laksa in winter. Pretty good selection of Asian and other groceries. Love this place.
