Not the place to go on a busy Saturday lunchtime. I loved their automated table booking system, that was really easy to register and wait. But it took a good 20mins to get a table for 1. I ordered 2 dishes to eat together, but they arrived separately and also took a long time after ordering. The fish had some strange mark and hair on the plate when it arrived via the robot. And it was cold. The rice dish was also cold except for the very centre when it arrived. The staff were lovely and replaced the fish dish when I showed the hair and mark. But, it just wasn't a nice dining experience. Taking over an hour from requesting my initial reservation.

I could taste the MSG on my noodles and dumplings. The meal had hardly any natural flavour. The noodles were slimy. Neither my partner nor I finished our meals and we went straight to get a nourishing juice that would also help detox those chemicals out of our body.

I’ve had din tai fung in Malaysia and it was amazing I loved everything. Tried it here in Sydney not the best there is so many other dumplings places around better quality and better service and cheaper too

The spicy noodles with dumplings is my favourite dish of all time. It never fails to deliver. Quick and fresh food, friendly service. A range of excellent dishes to choose from

Great, delicious food (definitely get the xiao long bao's!) and food comes out relatively quick. You order off an ipad and there's plenty of seating as there's upstairs and outside as well. Con's are it is a bit pricey for what you are getting, and they shut relatively early for a restaurant - so gotta be an early dinner!

I’ve been here on multiple occasions, these guys never let you down, service is extremely efficient and staff friendly and professional. Not to mention food is delicious!

We ordered fried rice with chicken filet, chicken soup and prawn dumplings, only fried rice is good , don’t know is steamer make prawn dumplings smell bad or not taste is fine but smell very bad , and chicken looks not cooked well and chicken soup’s chicken a little bit dry ..we came to Din Tai Fung was last September, last time was good but totally taste different today ..

The absolute best place I've eaten out in all of Sydney. The food here is amazing, well priced and balanced. The staff are great, they have a robot bring out your food which is always fun to watch and they have plenty of space to accommodate lots of people. Despite the wait times to get in here on busy days, it never takes too long, but even if it did, it'd be worth the wait.Cannot recommend a place to eat more than here.
