Wouldn't want to buy a car on comission through this bloke... again.1) Set the price to what would have been an Australian record sale, presumably to pump his comission. Knock on effect was that others selling on the other side of Australia were then quoting his dreamin' price as 'the going rate'. Fantastic work there, Will.2) Knew very little about the car at all.3) Dropped the $15K price to a sensible level after two weeks in the stratosphere then just as my local classic car expert - booked a week prior - rang to confirm he would be there shortly to confirm we were good to buy it outright (luckily he lived a short distance away from Short Shaft) then *magically* by the time said expert arrived there was suddenly a deposit lodge from a rival buyer across the country. . . Almost as though someone rang them at 2.30 on a weekday afternoon to say hey get your dollars out". . .Left a lasting and very bitter taste in the mouth
