Equilibrium The Holistic Living Project

I am falling in love with Equilibrium and the yoga practise. Yoga is a popular activity and as someone trying Yoga for the first time, finding the right studio is challenging. I am glad I found Equilibrium. Each of the yoga teachers, while different in approach, show a love and respect for the practise, which helps you to not only enjoy learning but to appreciate the yoga practise as well. In the two weeks I have attended Equilibrium I have seen changes in my general wellbeing with lightness and peace returning, healing of emotions, and things lifting off that I can't explain. I have learnt simple things like breathing properly that brings calm to my being, and knowing my body more to take better care of it. The more I attend the more I learn about yoga and the more I fall in love with the practise. It has been a surprising and wild journey so far, and I am thankful I ventured on the path to explore yoga, and began it here at Equilibrium. I couldn't ask for a more perfect adventure!

A warm, calming and homely studio. I really enjoyed my time at this studio. All the teachers are so friendly and make an effort to make sure you’re feeling comfortable and cared for. The hot tea at the end of each class is is so great! A wonderful space

I have been to countless yoga studios over the years, and Equilibrium blows them all out of the water. The space is absolutely divine! It's calming and healing effect has been incredibly nurturing for me. Ellie & Gen are loving, supportive and beautiful souls, who teach yoga with such integrity and wisdom. The class timetable offers such variety and each week there is a new spiritual concept to learn and new ways to get in touch with my mind, body, breath and soul. Every time I attend a class, I feel like I'm coming home and I'm forever grateful to Equilibrium for providing such an authentic and healing service and space.

Equilibrium is such a calming space to be in. I have attended a few classes now and always come out feeling better. The herbal tea is a nice way to end the session. The instructors are lovely and knowledgeable. And the yin class is relaxing enough to fall asleep in (sorry about that!)

What a beautiful experience coming in for the first time. The space is stunningly beautiful and tranquil. Ellie was so welcoming and supportive and provided progressions and options during the class that suited some of my limitations. Will be back and feel excited about it!.

This is a wonderful yoga studio! I love the warm friendly knowledgeable and experienced teachers. The studio looks out onto a garden filled courtyard, and the shala is elegantly simple. The mats are top quality, and all blocks/ bolsters etc are provided, with a cleaning station to use after class. Delicious tea is provided afterwards when we can sit and chat. There are all levels of classes, from relaxing yin, to more difficult evolve" classes for the technically proficient. The costs are very reasonable for membership. I love it!"

Ellie and Gen are both incredible yoga teachers (as well as beautiful people!!) and their styles contrast and complement each other so perfectly, making Equilibrium a great studio for people at all levels of their yoga journey. Their knowledge, experience and methods have transformed my personal yoga practice. Coming to class benefits me physically, emotionally and spiritually in countless ways. It is one of the favourite parts of my week! I am so grateful for this beautiful studio.

I joined Equilibrium not long after the studio opened on Unley Rd. And it’s been such a beautiful experience and addition to my well-being plan. Ellie and the team are just gorgeous. The space has been created to provide a warm, inclusive and totally welcoming experience. My fave class is Yin Yoga and I have loved immersing myself in the special events they hold like the Yin & Reiki Sound bath sessions. It’s a truly magical studio and the effort that Ellie has put in to create this shines throughout.

Ellie and the team have created a haven for rest, focus and balance. I have practiced at a number of yoga studios in the Unley area and this is by far my favourite.The décor and cups of tea on arrival make it feel like entering a day spa. I love the way each class has a theme that challenges you both physically and mentally.

This is the best place for yoga lessons! The venue is truly awesome, and Gen is the most amazing teacher. She’s so patient, passionate and provides perfect instructions, tailored to each individual as required. Highly recommended for beginners through to those with much yoga practice under their belt.
