First time my puppy stayed here was happy with the care but would have like photo or some communication been it was her first would have made my weekend away less worrying. Clean environment and lovely staff . Will recommend and go back

phoned Imparra to see if there were any vacancies for my dog at the end of April early may. Imparra said there were vacancies for that time and said to fill in a new customer/ booking form on line. When they finally got back to me there were no vacancies for the time that I request. I sent another enquiry for posable dates for the second week in may.Didn't hear anything from them for 48 hours so I phoned them and they said they were vacancies for that time. They didn't take my booking over the phone as they said they didn't want to double booked the accommodation for my dog and to wait until I hear from them online. It's now about 4 days since I put my request in and I am still waiting to hear from Imparra. It seems all to hard for them to take my booking so have decided to go elsewhere even though Imparra facilities look really good.

Had my two cats and dog board for 12 days as I had boarded my cats there two months prior. I collected them a day earlier (advised them by email) and was told “no refunds during school holidays” so I cancelled my pets next stay in February.Maddie was extremely rude and talked down at me and my dog was nothing more than skin and bones. She wasn’t well that evening and I stayed up with her all night. She was absolutely starving!!!!!May I suggest to you that if you cherish your pets PLEASE-DO NOT LEAVE your animals there for boarding.First time cats came back skinny and with runny stools, the same this time round. It took me three weeks to build them up again.I also had to pay them $3 to administer one tablet to my dog. I paid over $1300 to have dry food fed to them and come back ill.Choice is yours to make- but be warned!

The staff and kennels (resort room) were lovely however, both our dogs came back after a 6 day stay with chronic diarrhoea. We contacted the kennels to suggest a deep clean of their resort room might be in order however, they 'didn't think that is necessary' - hmmmmmm

STOP and don't look any further for your pet's boarding needs. I brought my pup with me from the states and we've only been here a little over half a year. He has IBD and I almost lost him back in 2020, so I'm EXTREMELY leery of any new foods + places, but I am a maniac when it comes to somewhere for him to stay. My partner and I were going away for a week and I needed to trust somewhere to board Walden, though. I found Imparra through multiple happy mentions on local Facebook groups, did a tour with them (where they were happy to book the tour and answer all my crazy dog mum questions), then booked him in. I got a call the morning after dropping him off and they informed me he wasn't eating for him and they'd already tried several methods (wetting down his food with boiled water, sitting with him as he ate, etc.) and asked if there was anything I could think of that would help. I mentioned to them I really wasn't sure, but bananas did help at home to get him to eat, stressing though I didn't expect them to go buy bananas obviously, and then thanking them for letting me know about it and got off the phone just hoping he would get hungry. I called back later in the afternoon to see if he'd eaten as I was anxious all day about it, and the lady that answered automatically knew him just by his name and told me she'd gone to the store, bought bananas, and gotten him to eat. If I wasn't already crying from the anxiety, I would've teared up from happiness at how kind they were to have done this. When I picked him up, they didn't even charge me any extra for this, even though I know it would've been so much extra work for them. Yes, it may seem to some like a small thing for them to do, but the point is they did not have to do this at all for me and my boy, but they did. I would recommend them over and over to anyone who needs a spot for their pets to stay. They truly care about the animals they're boarding and it means the world to me.P.S. Walden was super happy having his new friend Milly there to bunk with while mum and dad were away! ❤️
