I got a piercing from the manager. Good support. Helped me not be scared. Lovely service. Didn’t judge my preferred name. Love the place

Awesome place, I recieved excellent friendly service from the tattoo artists. Paul ended up doing my tattoo, and his new school skills are amazing. Super happy and will be back again.

Excellent staff. Very friendly, helpful, and understanding of my needs. Great eclectic gift ideas, either novelty or usable. I got the 2 for $80 lobe piercings and they are healing well. A ball fell off the back of ons and they replaced it free of charge.

$250 for a 2 words 6cm tattoo that took 10 mins to make by the Italian tattoo artist. For the same price I had another tattoo in a different studio which was coloured and took 2 hrs to make. Felt completely ripped off.

I was pierced at the Queen Street Mall Off Ya Tree on several occasions by a lovely lady named Laura. I was astounded by her professionalism, skill, efficiency and bubbly personality. She clearly takes a huge amount of care and pride in her work, and it shows! I love her work, and I also appreciate the open line of communication she kept with me, explaining everything as we went a long. I have had 18 of my piercings done at various Off Ya Tree’s and have always had wonderful experiences, but Laura truly took the cake. She pierced me so efficiently and virtually painlessly. If you want a true professional with over 20 years of experience, go see Laura!!

Came in to get a matching tattoo with my friend on Tuesday - Artist didn’t like that i had used numbing cream which is fine but it wasn’t stated on their website that I couldn’t use it - he didn’t refuse to tattoo me and i didn’t try to fight him on it or anything. Overall the tattooing part was fine - felt like a tattoo - it came out pretty cute but there are some wobbly lines - I’m not a perfectionist so that’s okay. I know it wasn’t the cream i used because my friend also had wobbly lines and didn't use any numbing so maybe it was rushed. When i asked him for aftercare, he just told me to “do what i normally do” so i told him I’ve used bepanthen in the past, recommended by other tattoo artist. He said he didn't think bepanthen was good for tattoo healing so i asked him what i should use and he told me to just use the bepanthen. I feel it is a bit negligent to not give your clients detailed aftercare instructions and to just say “just do what you normally do” especially if he doesn’t agree with what i normally do. It’s not as if I’m tatted up - i have one large tattoo i got in 2021 and two small ones i got in 2019 and 2021. I dunno if he was just annoyed at me that i had used numbing cream but you do have a duty of care to your clients to either refuse service or at least give proper aftercare. I wouldn’t go back to this artist for a tattoo and would avoid this location as it seems they may not really give much of a damn - just want to get you in and get you out as fast as possible.

We went into the store and were standing near the till looking at the wheel for piercings and the woman told us to get out of the way even though there was no one in the store.... She then proceeded with her attitude, not asking us if she could help or offering to put us through at the till... There was one staff member in a vest and had stretched ears who was super lovely and came over to help put us through eventually. When they put my friend through it was under the '$6' piercing service where they charge you $6 for a piercing and force you to buy the cleaning spray + jewelry making it over $40 for a piercing which is a pretty standard price. Not to mention the regular service fee is $23 and they are charging $6+$16=$22 and advertising it as a deal. False advertising.... Then when she got pierced the woman that was over by the till came over and was aggressive and rude to the people before us who asked to go in together - which can be done at literally all other piercing stores but off ya tree, but was rude about it (I'm sure people would be more understanding if your staff could be polite about it.) Not to mention the piercer not talking to my friend at all, not listening to her about the placement (wanting it to be even - matching her piercings on the other ear) and then piercing her with different jewelry to the one she selected (same size as an industrial bar and not with a flat back it was a conch piercing). There was 3 of us and we were all going to get piercing but after the expierance we are glad only one of us gave money to this store...

The staff are friendly but overpriced, $100 for the smallest tattoo, not to bring into account the visible health and safety hazards… lights hung up with electrical wires alone, other electrical wires cable tied too metal sharp edges, vary dangerous and multiple health and safety issues. How this shop is currently open is well beyond meNot to mention my partner came for a piercing, that came to a crashing halt when a guy came in with an immensely infected ear from his 3 day old piercing…. Which was abit concerning and more understandable why it’s “$6 madness piercings”

Recently got pierced at this Off Ya Tree and the staff were incredibly helpful and professional. They also have a wheelchair lift alongside the stairs which I really appreciated considering that a lot of the nearby stores are wheelchair inaccessible.
