This is not fine dining, it's unpretentious Chinese BBQ with complimentary welcome soup which is very old school. They're open 12 hrs from 10am to 10pm and I don't come here for the service or ambience (which I am not rating), I come for my BBQ meat fix & these guys have never let me down. Crispy skin roast pork with rice for $16 or 2 choices of BBQ meat with rice for $17 is unbeatable value for a sit down meal. For that you get a mound of white rice, braised green leafy vegetable, a splash of soy, and more than sufficient BBQ meat to help you finish off all that rice. There is complimentary tea from a thermos on the table to help you wash it down. You can pick what meat you want but I chose thinly sliced BBQ pork & bite-size chunks of crispy skin roast pork belly which had no bones in it so I could either eat it in layers or pop the whole thing in - beautiful crunch, really hit the spot. Business was slow when I got there at 7:30pm on a rainy Friday night - plenty of tables, we were one of the only customers. The Burwood Chinatown precinct is shiny & new and this place has been doing the same thing for 20 years so no novelty or gimmicks but if you are looking for more bang for buck in Burwood can do worse than come here.

the food was great, they put a lot of meat. well seasoned and the noodles wasn’t dry.but I concern about their hygiene because I’ve seen so many grease in their kitchen also in dining area.you can see multiples grease in the jug, salt & soy sauce station and dust around the kitchen glass

If you are craving for Chinese BBQ And Roast, I do recommend this place.Large portions !!! And the prices are reasonable.I will come back and try other dishes.

I am truly grateful to find out this hidden gem. Honestly, their food did remind me of my passed grand parents' cooking in Indonesia. They're chinese descendant and either they or my great great grandparents surely might have come from the same province in China. I've always come back here now almost every weekend after discovered them 2 months ago. Food wise, I rate them an overall 8.5/10 - Crispy pork belly is well-fried, skin is crispy, tender and super enjoyable. Roasted duck tastes very well-balanced and isn't as salty as another roasted duck shop I fancy in Box Hill in Victoria. Beancurd chicken soup is top-notch. And today, I've just tried their flavored beef on rice - that's very good too. On my next visit, I definitely wanna try their noodles with the red pork and crispy pork on top.PS: If you haven't come here before please do cuz they have something extra that's gonna surprise you :)ALSO....I'm very surprised how underrated this restaurant has been after being rated 3.5 stars. Turned out it was given from a random/anon without any whatsoever comments/feedbacks. They, to me, easily deserved a five star. If you're on Instagram please tag them or add location if possible. Absolutely disgusting and needs to be shut down ASAP!Was served chicken chowmein with bad chicken that has turned green and rotten, took one bite and had to spit it out.Boss lady was apologetic but the man that cooked the food refused to take any responsibility and yelled from the kitchen area, denied there was something wrong with the food! He even took out the raw tub of chicken from the fridge. and continued to argue.I will never set foot into this place again. Someone could get food poisoning from this and get seriously sick! Shame on you! The man should be banned from working in a kitchen.

One of the best and fastest authentic cantonese food I have tried. My family and I were walking all over Burwood trying to find a place to eat and came across this restaurant and gave it a go. Customer service was fast and very welcoming. Such nice ladies accommodated for us and food came out really quick which was also reasonably price for the portions. We are so full and we will definitely come back there when we can. Thank you.
