Orion Lagoon

Nice Family buzz. Our family go to for late swims. Closes at 9pm. Life gaurds on duty. Summer days get super packed get there early to get a good parking & spot to set up. Shared BBQ area. Changing rooms and Toilets. Cold rock ice cream is a walk up the hill. Orion shopping centre (google stores) children's playground, Domino's Pizza, Coles are our go to. Also a petrol station across the road KFC is walking distance. 7.30pm was still quite full in the pool but lots of parking :) overall quite a clean place to go, all thanks to the continous cleaners walking around.

What a magnificent place to spend a lovely weekend with family. If you or the kids love water you must visit.Orian Lagoon in Springfield Lakes is a combination of different level swimming pools that caters for all ages. Complete with lifesavers patrolling this is absolutely free, no entry fee.Situated opposite a major shopping centre (Orian Shopping centre) you have the best of both worlds. Water for the kids, shopping centre for the adults with all the latest stores and takeaway restaurants for food to take back to the water lagoon.My daughter and I love this place and it’s free.

My absolute favourite place to go for a relaxing swim after a walk around the park. I come here in the morning so not sure what it is like when it's crowded though. Life guards are friendly, pool is always being cleaned in the morning from all the leaves that fall from near by trees. Toilet block is always clean and stocked.

Great place for the family with something for all age groups.Awesome swimming spot, plenty of space with a huge playground across the road if the kids have had enough of swimming.

Great facilities - free BBQs, tap and sink to wash cooking stuff, benches, tables, showers, toilets and changing rooms right next to the free swimming pools. The pools are laid out in differing depths to suit young children right through to adults. My kids loved the stepping stones and the little river which was located near the BBQs. There's quite a lot of space to set up as well with some of the grassed areas shaded by umbrellas. Breakfast at Stephanie's cafe is also right next to the Lagoon selling food and drink, it's also licensed if you want to enjoy refreshing alcoholic drink in the hot sun!

Best place for relaxing. It's nice, clean, well organised and close to the shopping center. You can swim, you can enjoy the life, watch and meet the people. Thanks for this place

What a great facility. Disability friendly free pool, BBQ area across road from Shops. Playground at shops.

awesome design. fun place for a family day out. lots of great walks and good coffee at Cafe at the edge of the pool... one table even has Snakes and Ladde rs painted on it for you to play whilst having g your coffee .. so don't forget your dice!
