Georgettes Art Gallery and Studio

A totally unique art experience. I have found Georgette's sculpting classes both challenging and deeply satisfying and a lot of fun as there is always a great deal of chatter as we all battle to free our creations from the clay. Georgette is a good teacher who offers support and shares her wealth of knowledge readily. I would recommend these classes to anyone looking for a new way to express their artistic yearnings.

From the moment I commenced my clay sculpture classes with Georgette I knew that I was going to love it. She is a supportive and professional teacher who guides you skilfully through the clay sculpture process. Nothing is too much trouble for Georgette and her depth of knowledge about clay sculpture is amazing.Classes are conducted in a creative environment with lots of chatter and laughter. Everyone is learning and it’s inspiring just looking at what other people are creating.I am very happy with my first completed sculpture and can’t wait to begin my next piece.I highly recommend Georgette’s Art to anyone interested in learning clay sculpture.

I decided to inquire about Georgette's sculpture classes 3 and a half years ago. I had always been interested in art and sculpture and was seeking an avenue to express any creativity that was still lurking inside me! I was going through a very difficult emotional time in my life and was hoping that doing the course would be a distraction and provide a positive and creative outlet for me . Georgette invited me to visit an exhibition of present students work and to meet her.WOW!!! was I impressed and couldnt wait to start!! Georgette is delightful- a wonderful, very creative and fun person.The other students are great and the atmosphere out on Georgette's verandah overlooking her tropical garden is so relaxing.Thursdays at Georgette's have got me through some very difficult times and I love going. And I have some terrific sculptures that I never thought I would be able to create.!Thanks Georgette for your expert tuition and support . I'm addicted to my clay days!! 20/5/2020 I have now been comming along to Georgettes Artclay sculpture classes for a total of 6 years and have loved every session. Georgette is a vert talented and passionet sculptor who in installs in all her students a love of working wirh clay and a delight in being able to create their own personal masterpieces. Georgette encourages all her students to exoress their creativity and suports our individual journey with clay. The relaxing verandah setting chatting with friendly fellow students and Georgettes advice and knowledge all provide a thoroughly wonderful and very addictive place to be n a Thusday...and we have some awesome sculptures that we have made ourselves!! Thank you Georgette you are a terrific teacher.

Such a great place to let out your creative side and meet some lovely people. Georgette is a great hands on teacher giving all students the encouragement and confidence to creative amazing works are art. For me, the location is great and the 3 session times available make it convenient to get a class each week. Love it!

Georgette is a wonderful hands-on teacher of clay sculpture. I have found mindfulness, community and fun attending these delightful art classes in Birkdale. A beautiful location that provides inspiration through nature and an in-house gallery. Highly recommend!

Sculpting and working with clay was a completely new and unique experience for me and I loved every second of it learning at Georgettes Studio! Georgette allowed me to create the piece I envisioned and supported me along the way being an excellent teacher. Her professionalism, skill and hands on approach was extremely helpful when learning this new craft and I highly recommend starting your sculpting journey with her!

Georgette's sculpture and art classes are amazing - Georgette is an encouraging and incredible teacher. The students are supportive and the location and environment so relaxing.
