Floorworld Gepps Cross - Timber, Laminate, Vinyl, Hybrid Flooring & Carpet Store

Laminate floors laid well but over 6 months a couple of high traffic areas have gapped. Spoken to them 3 times with a promise of someone coming out to inspect but have heard nothing. Very poor after sales service

Never had such an exceptional experience with a sale person. From the sale to the installation it was a seamless process. Highly recommended. Saved over a thousand from compared quotes.

Purchased flooring and plantation shutters. Whilst the staff in store were friendly and helpful, they were let down by their installers and General Manager Dean Bonutto. Quality of flooring install was generally good, however finish of trims was very poor with trims not even mitred properly. Installers also marked our walls and doors and driveway was full of cigarette butts. As for the plantation shutters, very poorly installed with large gaps up to 20mls, a couple of shutters did not fit and had to be remade and in fact one had to be remade twice. The installer also bought their dog to the install which I consider is unprofessional. Financially we have been severely disadvantaged as we could not rent out property for 6 mos due to the incompetence of the measurer and installer. As for the senior manager Dean, he was rude, abrupt, arrogant and never took ownership of the problem. Quite often when we followed up he would say he had no idea what was happening. We spent $20k with this company. I would never recommend them to anyone and in fact have shared our experience with money. We even envoked consumer affairs. I highly recommend that the store make sure that their friendly sale can be supported once deal done. Please do not go here and plenty of stores out there that will be happy to have your patronage

I would give zero stars if I could. Completely unreliable and rude. The job wasn't finished, our home was damaged and we were asked to show up Saturday morning for the install to finish, the installers arranged by floorworld didn't show up. When I rang to ask for help from the gepps cross store the woman on the phone was incredibly rude said it wasn't floorworlds problem and hung up on me mid sentence. Go anywhere else but here!!!

I went to Floorworld for a quote on carpets for my 4 bedrooms. I found the carpet I loved so sat down with the salesman to discuss price and installation. He gave me a price which was reasonable and I was happy with it for the quality of carpet I had picked out but I asked him if I could come back the next day to pay the deposit and order the carpet as I wanted to discuss the price, colour and type of carpet I had ordered with my husband before I paid a deposit. He then became very pushy and I started feeling extremely uncomfortable. He stated I could ring my husband there and then and discuss it with him but I advised him my husband was at work and unable to talk to me on the phone regarding carpets for our house. He told me that I had to commit and pay the deposit immediately as that price was only for that day and I told him I still needed to discuss it with my husband and he kept pushing me to commit to the sale there and then. I hated how that made me feel and I couldn't believe even when he saw how uncomfortable I was becoming that he kept pushing and pushing. I left the premises and will never go there again. They had lost a sale as my husband stated that night that he did like the price, colour and type of carpet I had chosen and would have been happy for me to order it the next day but he also agreed with me that there is no way we would order from them now or in the future due to how the salesman made me feel. Piece of advice to your salesmen that if you try and pressure someone into a sale they will not commit and go elsewhere.

Went there for a project at home. Dean and one of his work mates were very helpful giving us information about the materials that we needed. They do know their products and what cuatomer service is...

We came in about a year ago and told them the dimensions of the room were 3x3m, which the carpet was old and we wanted something new renovating. The staff were polite up to a point.When the man that looked like the leader/manager of the place asked us about our situation, he started laughing. And I mean literally laughing. I was confused until he loudly called out to all the other staff, saying our room was only 3m and that it was smaller than his wardrobe"

Mark & the team are so friendly and knowledgeable, they know exactly what to recommend and organised the whole thing for me from start to finish, and stayed in touch throughout. Fantastic customer service, product, and prices. I'm absolutely in love with my new floors! Their installer Steve did such a great job as well and was very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

DO NOT PAY UPFRONT!!I paid an agreed deposit, as I would expect to, then had a number of calls demanding full payment the day before installation!A tactic, as it was required to be done on schedule, so I made the payment in full.BIG MISTAKE! As they installed" the wrong product and the flooring has gaps and is completely uneven.Trying to resolve this was the next nightmare. All my calls were either ignored
