Georges River National Park
I love going here and having a picnic during lunch time. So peaceful. You get to enjoy nature and the view of the river. There is a toilet nearby, picnic table and a bbq. I have seen some people fishing here too. You can also take a walk on the pathway to Fitzpatrick park, Picnic Point, all the way to Lambeth Reserve.

Georges River National Park
This National Park is the perfect place to just simply relax and get away from the hustles, that is well within reach! There are many places to park, many spots to relax, there are BBQ stations that you can use, restrooms are accessible in portions along the National Park, and lots of nice spots to walk along. The place is very tranquil, and is perfect spot for a day out for families or friends! If that's not all, there is also another part of the park that you can visit that is just on the other side, called the Fitzpatrick Park, also a place to check out.

Huge and quiet national park, can use NSW multipark annual pass. Not much people, kids can enjoy play sands with tree shade. Got 3 different length walk track. People swim and there is boat ramp.

One of my favourite local spots to watch nature, picnic and be near the water.A relatively modest walking trail on the ridge provides for nice views of the national park area.

Georges River National Park
Lovely spot, although not long enough for more than stretching of legs. In the winter, there's hardly anyone there which is fabulous on a sunny day. It's mostly quiet but sometimes is used by jetskis and the occasional motorbike taking advantage. Parking is $8 for day pass, pay just before you enter the car park, on the left, but after the boats.

Great place for picnic and family time . 8$ entry fees is ok . But I think no one care about cleaning of this place . Bins are full and everywhere you can see plastic wraps and bottles .

Convenient to Sydney.George’s River area frequented well by picnickers, kayakers, fisher folk, boaters and the odd jet ski.Did one well- signposted lagoon walk within this park, but now keen to try the other walks this park has to offer. Numerous picnic areas and tracks. We are very lucky to have a natural asset such as this in Sydney’s doorstep.

Georges River National Park
It's great for a picnic or a quick walk. A little noisy from the jet skis and speed boats so not the best for picnics. I would recommend Fitzpatrick park instead. But for a hike that is short and sweet, give the Ridge Trail a try. About an hour return.
