Positive Living Centre | Thorne Harbour Health | The Positive Living Centre (PLC) is a vibrant and safe environment for all people living with HIV. Operated by Thorne Harbour Health, the PLC's main aim is to enhance the health and wellbeing of HIV positive people, through the provision of social, emotional, recreational, and skills-based services and activities. Many services are provided free-of-charge and are delivered by a range of skilled facilitators, staff, and volunteers.

The Pantry is what makes it possible for me to eat through the fortnight on my pension. I have enjoyed the painting lessons immensely, & I have friends there I that are good to catch up with

A great community centre, with a library of reading material on LGBTQI issues and rooms for exhibits, events, meetings, classes and more. Also coffee shop facilities, some parking and is wheelchair accessible.

PLC is a place Where HIV+ & HIV- People can go for Support, Classes, Information, Education & once a fortnight you can do what they call Pantry" which is usually off week to Pension week.Catch up with peopleOr meet new people.Exchange Your experiences

Welcoming, non-judgemental and helpful beyond belief or expectation service organisation providing support, advice, guidance, company and counsel to Victorians recently diagnosed or living with HIV. The staff here, all of them, continually astound me with their intuitive compassion, resilience and willingness to help. As always I thank you all sincerely. .... 2 December; they're still all there !

A very handy organisation to know about when things in your life go a bit askew involving lgbtiq health woes. However don't ever rely on these guys & always remember people are in it always with alterior motives. Be sure 2 always stand on-guard

Positive Living Centre
The Positive Living Centre has a very relaxed atmosphere during the day, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. You can look through information brochures and booklets by yourself or have a chat with one of the lovely staff and volunteers. They have dinner every Thursday night and it's the highlight of the week, yet only one of the many services available to you. I give the PLC five stars! Well done guys.
