I highly recommend The Laptop Man! Very knowledgeable guys, who explained what was happening with my computer at my limited tech level. Their quote had options that fit my budget, and I could make my choice without feeling pressured to spend more. I will definitely be calling them if I get into difficulties again.And that dude at the front is a bit of a character, better than service with a smile!

Last week, in Feb.2023, I went there with my disable client, and we're met with I call this a rude service.A middle-aged gentleman behind the counter didn't even bother to approach my client (who needed to sit down because of her breathing difficulties*) and to offer his services/ enquire what he could help her with. It was a very simple question on how much it would cost for a new battery for ladies' Acer laptop. My client was ignored and treated with no respect, and she felt that. We quickly left.

The most outrageously poor service. Replaced my hard drive and battery in laptop - charged almost $500 to include moving files. Files hadn't been loaded onto new hard drive - my data and files were all in Dropbox so that's where they stayed so they didn't move any files but charged a bomb to do so. Technician reckons he didn't know about Dropbox and how it worked. Battery failed within 10 months. I am now using an honest tech in Brisbane - he says nothing is wrong with the hard drive - I did at least get it back and now he has put it in a case so I can use as an external hard drive. Appaling and dishonest service.

Dropped in my tower not booting up no video output. Told it was dirty ram and just needs a clean. Great can you drop in a 2TB SSD and ghost the data across. No worries. 2 days later called up yep good to go. Drive the 3 hour trip pay $930, get home and it isn't booting up, no video output and the chassis has had a mediocre clean components are well cleaned. This obviously was NOT bench tested prior to dispatch. So now will have another 6 hrs drive to drop off and pick up with the cost of the fuel on top of the repair.
