We found Derek from Independent Cabinetmakers to be extremely professional. He built for us a new bathroom vanity and shaving cabinet/mirror. From the beginning he could see we were in a dilemma in trying to get a vanity built at short notice, and he went out of his way to accommodate us even though he had so much work on. Derek was always keeping us updated on the progress of our build and installation. He was always punctual, courteous and willing to go the extra mile for us. The workmanship and quality of his cabinetry was excellent. The end product was faultless and we would recommend Derek to anyone.

I am so happy with the work with Derek as he was so supportive and thoughtful during the renovation work and it came with beautiful kitchen and laundry. Derek redesigned and rebuilt one Kitchen for me 2 years ago and did an incredible job. He has just extended and renovated another kitchen and renovated the laundry for me and I could not be happier. I would definitely recommend Derek to anyone who wanted a great job done by a professional, easy to deal with, honest and very patient tradesman.

Derek from the business 'Independent Cabinetmaker' was great to deal with. I required a new bathroom cabinet to replace one that was water damaged. He responded to my call, made a time to come and give me a quote. He was on time, and asked questions in order to fully understand what I wanted. He told me when I would receive his quote, and it arrived when he said. The quote was thorough and, I felt, a very reasonable price.After agreeing to go ahead, Derek explained the timeframe. He again delivered on time.His workmanship and attention to detail was admirable. I recently had Derek make a liquor cabinet to be build into an existing kitchen. The quality of his work is outstanding and Derek was a pleasure to deal with. I have no hesitations in recommending him and I would definitely use his services again if needed.

Derek fixed a job for me recently and it was a bit of a stuff around job as my cabinet colour had been discontinued!! He went above and beyond to try to get the exact colour and when he couldn’t, he made an extra trip to my house to do a colour match. He is extremely professional, honest, friendly and nothing was too much for him. I highly recommend his work. His attention to detail is impeccable and his craftsmanship is flawless. Derek did an amazing job with our renovation. He designed and installed custom cabinetry for our kitchen and wardrobe and was professional to deal with. Highly recommended.
