Chris's Beacon Point Restaurant & Villas Accommodation

We had a great stay in the villa's. The views are breathtaking, we even had a Koala outside our window in the morning! The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. The restaurant wasn't open unfortunately but the staff made us feel extremely welcome! Ian, Lim and the gang were so helpful and friendly making it a brilliant experience!

Service was fabulous and a lovely location with most tables having a great view through the canopy to Apollo Bay below.Entrees - Oysters were big hit, kingfish less so with the beetroot garlic yoghurt too overpowering for the delicate fish.Mains - lamb had good flavours, but a touch too dry, Hapuka was delicious but barely 130/140g was a very small serve compared to our other mains, prawns were the standout with a generous serve and loads of flavour.Desserts were also good - both the baclava and the crème caramel. Cocktails a little thin - espresso martini like it was blended rather than shaken.Odd ambiance. We could either do the 6pm sitting, or an 8pm sitting. We appeared to be the only group doing the 8pm which meant that by 9:15 the place was empty and it felt like they were cleaning up around us and waiting for us to leave.

Have wanting to get here for a long time and the experience did not disappoint. Perched up on a hill with a magnificent vista, the restaurant is warm and inviting as soon as you walk in. Staff very helpful with decision making from the menu full of Greek winners! 3 of us shared 3 mains and 2 entrees and a bottle of Australian viogner for less than $80 per head and walked out very happy customers indeed. Stay in accommodation up on Beacons Point as the drive down to the bottom of the hill is pretty precarious. Can’t wait to go back again

Was a great experience to be in this place with your loved ones. The foods were so delicious that you could even forgot your name once you've tasted it. I would not get bored of coming over again.

We booked a table for new year’s eve dinner. No doubt the view we got was amazing. But unfortunately, the food was below average. It might be the food we ordered was not the famous dishes. Anyways, we still enjoyed our New Year’s Eve dinner here. 3 stars rated for the great ocean view!

Omg, what an amazing place. The food devine, the atmosphere devine, and the service absolutely outstanding. Needing a place to celebrate or just because, Chris's is the place to go. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location situated high up in the coastal hills of Skenes Creek. The staff were helpful and polite but lacked any knowledgeof what was on the menu, food or wine. The food, my partner ordered the sirloin cooked rare, came out blue which meant the texture was chewy and fat wasnt rendered. 101 of being a chef is the ability to cook a steak, lucky my partner enjoys raw steak but found the texture unpleasant. For the price, maybe 2 beans crossed over or a floret of brocolli should be included in the price otherwise its meat and spud. I had the scallops which were arranged in 2 shells, with roe on, some like some don't, tasted better without only in my opinion, don't shoot me! Accompanied with a rocket and orange salad, on a creamy sauce bed. Nested in between the 2 scallops shells, a good dollop of mashed polenta, some would say, why? I said thank goodness! Was about the only part of the meal I enjoyed, dont get me wrong the scallops were nice! I thought I would enjoy the meal with a glass of a beautiful Victorian Pinot, well, that may have been nice, if the glass of Pinot I received wasn't dead about a week ago! I never leave a glass of anything behind, but I couldn't do it. The waiter collected the bill and I paid in full, he never asked was the wine ok, maybe he could tell as my lips were all curled up with what had just passed them? Would I go back, probanly not, would I have the same, definitely not, but I might chance the Pinot again! Overall a 2 star fail, unfortunately

Thanks to Ian and team, they had made our dining experience very memorable. Ian had moved us to a better view so that we could really enjoy the sunset across the beautiful Skeenes Creek. The food was absolutely delicious and we had really enjoyed our time at the restaurant.

This place is incredibly amazing . I should say “the best in town”! The staffs are amazing and approachable. My family enjoyed our stay here and they planned to go back in Christmas.

An absolute favourite of my wife and mine (and our girls when they get to come), amazing views with food and service to match. The staff are genuine, not pretentious, and showed great care that we had a memorable experience.Our room had a view to die for, we could sit in bed and watch the sunlight fade over the (near to) 180 degree view of the ocean.
