Langhorne Creek Wine Region
Langhorne Creek could well be the most pleasant of SA wine regions to visit. Easy hour and a bit from town and the drive down is very scenic. The people are super friendly and not overwhelmed by tourists. The free campground in town is great. The brewery/winery served good beer and food. The pub is fun. Only issue - The cafe/general store strongly prefer you wash your keep cups prior to asking for coffee! Or you could be in for a problem!Clayton's Bay is close and really really nice. Go do it. You'll love this whole area.

Powered van sites squashed everyone together even though it's off peak time.Narrow road so difficult to park van with opposite vans so close.Lots of space in the other part of the park.Facilities dirty when we arrived at 2pm and dirty the following day until 3pm.Won't be returning:(
