Aidan and Alex are amazing!A HIDDEN GEM!!! We loved our stay here and we will be back!The accommodation is extremely clean, the rooms are very large, comfortable beds, the grounds are tropical and very beautiful. Our rooms had kitchen facilities and there is a full laundry right there! The motel is very close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Awesome pool and BBQ area. Parking was directly in front of our rooms. Aidan provided us local information, which was very much appreciated.We could not have wished for a better experience, it was perfect!WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND.Susan, Dean, Pat, and Dorothy.

Loved our stay. Clean well presented prop. Lovely receptionist welcome, pool towels offered.. pool nice and well set up BBQ area. Would definitely stay again. Reasonable rates not too far from Port douglas cbd area

This is a fabulous place to stay. The rooms are spacious, clean & very affordable and have all the amenities needed. It’s a well-run, neat and tidy site with a great swimming pool and spa.The owners are really helpful, they booked all my tours for me and I had a fantastic time staying here.I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Port Douglas - highly recommended!

Adian was so helpfull and informative, extremely accommodating with our extra requests. The swimming pool was one of the cleanest pools I've ever been in.Our room was spotless on our arrival with a modern take that sets hotels miles behind.The electic scooter hub located at the front was also unexpected surprise while also so much fun!100 percent recommended

Absolutely perfect stay. Apartment was spotless. Fantastic amenities in the room. They’ve thought of everything, including a washcloth for removing makeup! Outside common area orderly and clean. Service excellent. For a fussy customer, I can’t fault this place. Perfect.

I have a wonderful 4-night stay at Lazy Lizard. I rate it 10 out of 10!The owners are very helpful right starting from the booking was confirmed. They answered every question I had incl. weather, transportation, activities, etc. They booked all my tours and Cairns-Port Douglas-Cairns transportations. On my day leaving PD to Cairns, I had to wait more than 20min for the shuttle to arrive. Aidan the owner called the driver and then assured me that he was on the way to pick me up. As a solo female traveller, I very much appreciate the help and advice they have given.The room is very clean. The room has a small kitchen area. So there are two sinks in the room so I can wash fruits in the kitchen. In most hotel room, you only have one sink in the bathroom.The location is also good even though not right in the town. It only took me 11min to walk to 4 Miles Beach (the sunrise there is amazing) and about 20min to Marina and town. If you don't feel like walking there are shuttles available all day: $5 one way and $8.50 return.Overall I am very pleased with the stay here, and would like to take my family to here one day
