Bad news! It's over, the train has no chance of a return to Nuriootpa. Stephan Knoll MP ripped up the line for the Kroemer's roundabout where the level crossing was. This means people will now have to use the On-demand" buses instead which is very insulting and dishonest. This is going to be South Australia's greatest shame in the 21st century. When will people have a heart and love rail again??"

Barossa & light cab service, Barossa's only 100% locally owned cab/taxis service, serving the Barossa since 2006, love Nuriootpa, and we rate Nuriootpa 5 out of 5 stars. There is so much to do and see in Nuriootpa with wineries including Penfolds, home of the brave, Elderton, Wolf Blass and also Stein's Tap House. With the coop also here, with large supermarkets and specialist shops there is something for everyone here in Nuriootpa.
