Great family experience. The crew is friendly and organises everyone quite fast to ensure you cross the river promptly.Try to avoid peak hours as the ferry if not very big (10-12 cars and buses) or you will queue for 20+ minutes.

This is a fast, efficient roll-on, roll-off cable-driven ferry.The staff are helpful, professional and safety-focussed. It's amazing how many vehicles the ferry can carry, so even if the queue seems long, you've a good chance to get on. If you miss out the first time, you won't have to wait long as it's a quick round trip.Bring cash in case you can't pay by card as telecommunications can be a bit unpredictable up here.

Nice and easy ferry just turn up. PayLine up. We have a 24ft van and if tide is too low they just move the ferry closerto land for you. Very accommodating. $35for car and van return. Well worth themoney to stay in the area for a fewnights. Beautiful piece of Australia!

The boat and boat crew were amazing. However the man or what could be in my opinion an AI driven humanoid at the ticket counter needs a software upgrade. While sitting in my, what neutral observers could claim to be an obnoxiously large 4 WD, I was inquired about whether I was driving a 4 WD. It just indicates that the image recognition software of the humanoid needs some software patches. Its language app was great because it made me aware of some grammar issues, which as a non native speaker was great. I never bought a ferry ticket and got free language lessons. Do prepare exact change because the humanoid gives attitude when you give it a 50dollar note. Overall great but I believe the ticketing humanoid deserves replacement.

$28 return trip with eftpos available between certain hours of the day. Runs until 11:45pm.

Great little ferry which gets you to the other side

Staff are friendly and polite, down side is the price keeps going up, currently at $28.00 for return trip with normal car. Operating hours are great considering they run from 6am to 12am. Make sure you have cash they don’t always have the eftpos machine ready and available.

This ferry trip is nice but too expensive. 26 dollar for a return trip is not ok. Queensland national parks are normally for free, but this ferry is like an entrance fee. In the late afternoon waiting times can be 45min. This makes the high price even more a pain.

Good enough ferry of course. Just very expensive. The same ferry for a longer distance in Noosa is only $8, compared to $30 here. So you definitely feel lighter after you get off.
